  1. Corbin Where is this "pit" you speak of? I'm getting an itch to try out some of my new toys (lord knows after purchasing them I had to spend the next two months reloading), I havn't shot some of my rifles past 200 meters and would love to. Whats the longest range at the "pit"?
  2. The hunter, I know this kinda went off topic and got on the .50GI soooo, unlike what that uneducated "drink the kool aid" douche aresv says your not inter changing parts they were made to be used this way when you order from lone wolf, and yes I agree with azrial that 10mm is the best all around round your gonna get when your trying to get something that can be used in a combat situation and a hunting/survival situation. oh yeah all these claims of guns going kaboom all the fing time is really starting to piss me off, it's like having a discussion with your 4yr old trying to get them to eat l
  3. sounds to me like your worried about spending alot on ammo yet you still want something unique. I got into rifle caliber pistols a long time ago and never looked back. The Savage Striker pistol in .308WM is a blast to shoot and you won't fly through ammo at the range, you can find them on gunbroker for under your listed price of $600.00.
  4. dear presto_z, Michigan is unlike any other state you have ever been to, we have it all, including four seasons. people gasp at our unemployment rate yet we've been here since the 1930s when Detroit started to use machines instead of people. We are a survival of the fittest/smartest state, I would just like to let you know that we directly deport all our waste to Florida so that they won't freeze to death in the winter. Jokes I'm full of'em, On a more serious note, in your state YOU CAN NOT CARRY A LOADED AND CONCEALED SHOTGUN/RIFLE, In Michigan if it's under 30" it's recognized as a pisto
  5. Corbin, you are awesome! Thanks for the info. When I called the Washtenaw County office the lady was so confused by the wording (funny considering the state wrote it) that she told me to hire a lawyer. We'll all have to get together sometime and shoot. I'm only about 45 minutes from Flint. presto_z thanks for your concern. No it wouldn't be considered a smooth bore pistol by the feds considering there law would not regard it as such. They would still consider it a normal shotgun, the barrel is still over 18" and the overall length would still be over 26".
  6. fair enough I'll leave as much of the barrel as I can, as long as the overall measurement is under 30"/over 26". I sent my Saiga away for work so I don't have the dimensions of the reciever which will tell me how much barrel I can leave on there. I know around here the LE officers close the bolt and stick a dowel rod down the barrel and they better not be able to see that little line poking out the top or its off to f me in the a$$ prison.
  7. Hello all I'm trying to finish my bug out bag and need a little assistance. I live in the state of Michigan, we arn't allowed to apply for short barreled shotgun in this state (which sucks). So obviously this puts me in a little bit of a spot when trying to conceal a frickin T-rex in my bug out bag. So heres the deal, in Michigan anything under 30 inches MUST be registered as a pistol when you buy it. Now here's the tricky part a shotgun must have an 18 inch barrel but be under 30 inches in order to register it as a pistol so that it can "carried" without any issues from johnny law in a
  8. Hey Juggs, is it 28" or 26", I'm working a bullpup up and want to get it as short as legally possible. Question 2- If I bought it and it was over 30" how do I register it as a "pistol" if I already own it? Thanks, YARP
  9. I tried to post last night but this POS computer would not listen to my demands (coulda been the vodka). I am well versed in lone wolfs products ( www.lonewolfdistributors.com ) They are an excellent company that offers amazing solutions, if you read about my setup in the post glock vs. steel cased ammo you will truly understand my love for them and the quality products that they put out. While your at it get a compensator, you'll be amazed by the reduction in recoil and your ability to keep a longer string of shots on target. Oh yea whoever said get a new frame was correct. Sell that mo
  10. I don't know much about these, but I thought I would be kind and point out that there is one selling for $475.00 currently on GB and the only other one on there is starting at $1299.00 so............ If you invest heavily in guns it might be worth the investment!
  11. So I'm trying to do a build on a G3 receiver that is much like the vector which is unfortunatley not built anymore.....Which has raised there price up to an average of $2000.00 plus on GB and GA hence why I'm doing the build. First off I'm wondering if anyone has done this build already and could give me some pointers. I'm not trying to have a really short barrel on this bad lad, I'll be using it more for a backpack CCW than anything else so I'm looking at a 12" to 16" barrel other than that my requirements are slim. I intend to carry this with my Savage Striker (another project in the work
  12. BronCobraJet Yes you can make the plastic forend squishy (I don't think dripping off) if you put two 90 rders through the barrel the forend will literally start to squish. Might I suggest a VLTOR-CASV, great product and more rail space.
  13. Juggs I used to help my friend on the side with her screen printing/embroidery business, I helped her increase her business by almost 200% in 1 year. No I'm not BSing you. PM me when you get a second..... I also live in MI, yes we all hate Granholm and still don't understand how she gets re-elected.
  14. "A 511 on a handgun? Interesting. Is that setup for competition or something? Looking forward to the pics."=22 shooter I actually was in the mind set for years that iron sights were the only thing that belonged on a pistol. I think the first time I shot a pistol with a red dot on it was at an IDPA competition that my buddy was in, I LOVED it, I felt like an fing machine.... ping ping ping ping ping ping god I love that sound. rounds on steel=a day well spent not long after that I took an advanced pistol course that more deeply covered the subject of the pistol being the last line of
  15. that sounds like a pretty good setup.......but there are many more options. get out a pen and paper and your check book so I can give you the low low down on the ultimate Glock setup. I'm a true believer in the "Fear the man with one gun" theory.... ok only partially because I love toys to. I started out doing a TON of research before I bought my first pistol, I had used plenty of them but mostly 1911s and berettas (I hate berettas) the first time I picked up a Glock it fit my hand like it was made just for me. Anywho I did research till my eyes blead and I had found the end of the interne

    My new baby.

Hey KrisFox I think I may have something of interest to you. I'm also building a bullpup with my Saiga, I started this project after seeing Badman400s on the PLR-16 forum. the LOP was a little bit too far out for me also so I started to get closer and closer to the magazine, I think (in theory of course) that I may have found a solution that will allow you to get as close to the mag as possible and still allow the use of a drum mag. Its basically a thumbhole stock. if your interested hit me up. YARP
  17. First post here so hello to all and it's a pleasure. I'm a Saiga 12 owner and I swear by them. Anywho on to the topic at hand, as mentioned above the Glock is like the AK of the handgun world. My first handgun was a Glock 20 (10mm), I had shot many 1911s and Berettas as well as Glocks before I made the purchase. It is in my opinion the best gun I have ever owned for several reasons, -they are incredibly accurate -you CAN NOT break them -they are idiot simple -cleaning is a breeze -no matter what caliber your shooting the feel is the same -easiest saftey (and in my opinion safest (ma
