i have a pair that i havent installed yet, but would like to see some pics of installation, but i think basically u have to pay someone who does detailed tig work to weld them on.

i think i took the fcg apart about 8 times already(kinda sad, i know, i was a noobie with the double hook), so i have it down to a science essentially, bho and everything. i need to go to an Armed Anonymous meeting....

hmmm.... maybe i'll put the stock one back in, i've never even fired it with the stock spring, i started restoration the same day i got it in the mail. Thanks for the good tips apocalyptic. p.s im already itchin to buy another and do a classic wood furniture setup. at 325$ a pop why not?

oh yeah, the saiga fired perfectly, i fired 200 rounds through both 40 round clips and a 75 round chinese style drum. Not a single hickup. Now i just gotta get the hk sights welded on and the galil welded on, supposedly theirs a guy in federal way that does a beautiful job. I got a buddy with an awesome camera that im tryin to get down here to help me post some pics, od green galil style with all the fixin's. thanks again for all the great responses.

It was definitly a jte spring, I'll have to check my paperwork to see which one I got.

Yeah I took it all back apart today and smoothed out the notches I had to grind in the trigger well for the double hook, also added the slight bend in the jte comp mainspring, that seemed to do the trick, though I won't no for sure till I go to the range, which will hopefully happen tomorrow. Thanks for everyone's help, I'll let everyone know the results asap, and hopefully picks too.

so i took my saiga 7.62 to the range after full conversion and bullet guide/hicap mag mod, she loads fine, but the trigger seems to get stuck in fire position every other round, this might be because i got a double hook tapco trigger and had to shave an area out in my trigger well for it to move fully back and forth and maybe i need to make it bigger by shaving more, anyone have any ideas???? thanks
