  1. I will take 3 20rd clear mags provided confirmation per earlier PM
  2. DHS, TSA, FBI, DEA, ATF, LEO's, military etc., they are all Americans that you meet, talk and live next to on daily basis. They are not some alien army hellbent on taking away your life and liberties. Granted we have political disagreements but overall barred anything catastrophic I don't really see them acting against the principles this country was founded on.
  3. May be able to take the magwell off and use old mags. New style mags are for faster handling.
  4. Democrats learnt their lesson from 1994 when they lost both House and Senate after AWB passed. Granted anything is possible but why would they knowingly give up power especially given such a strong pro-gun sentiment in the country? This is the election year so you'll hear a lot of talk ...
  5. From SHOT Show 2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2oHAAlZCyY&list=WL95447D009E202D81&index=45&feature=plpp_video on their web site Legion lists these Saigas as available to purchase. They have EXP 03 features such as hinged cover, magwell and by the looks of it self-regulated FSB/GB with the bottom rail ground off. I didn't go as far as ordering one but looks like they are just around the corner.
  6. Izhmash has high hopes for US market and plan 20% increase in their volume.
  7. http://www.izhmash.r.../310112_3.shtml Izhmash announced their exclusive importer is Russian Weapon Company russianweaponcompany.com eldadoz1@gmail.com Command Arms Accessories 1300 Industrial Highway B-3 Southampton, Pennsylvania 18966 United States (212) 594-4141 The company looks brand new so this is a new development. Also the release stated, Fime Group will help them with 'classic hunting arms' which is likely Baikal line.
  8. From Russian press, there's a variety of opinions and rumors about AK-12 among which are the following: 1) It's vaporware 2) It exists as a mockup but will not go into production for a few years Russian military stated they will not be buying any more AK's because their warehouses are overstocked so to justify a new rifle procurement you need a customer. AK-12 looks evolutionary not revolutionary hence IMHO is not worth the effort. Plus they finally started buying foreign hardware which will put a lot of pressure on Izhmash, I think its already evident in new products hitting the mar
  9. I have SV but never got to get its true accuracy with good ammo. When I researched them, I found it to be 1-1.5 MOA per reviews. Some of the newer ones are coming with a side rail but others have no attached rail but you can get one separately form Kalinka Optics. It has 3 attachment points so it holds zero.
  10. This requires zero mods to the bolt and you get ambidextrous handling
  11. Original: http://www.lenta.ru/articles/2011/11/30/izhmash/ Translation: http://translate.google.com/translate?sl=ru&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lenta.ru%2Farticles%2F2011%2F11%2F30%2Fizhmash%2F Izhmash is developing AK-12 (2012) based on the existing mechanism with the following changes: 1) Hinged dust cover with picatinny rail just like 200 series, rail on the handguard as well 2) Selector/Safety switch on both sides (like in Galil) 3) Bolt handle on both sides 4) Reduced recoil (likely the same approach
  12. Its not AK-200, military wants a brand new design which already exists but requires a new cartridge which is expensive given existing supply of existing ammo so now the designers will likely try to adapt the new design to existing ammo.
  13. Just a note, that Arsenal is 5.56 not 5.45 . Nice firearms, wish I had the budget, they are priced really well.

  15. It's not bad so stop scaring each other. If you feel you are suffering, read some history books.
