i did. and he found out it would only fit a saiga. he wanted to put it on his ak 74. i explained that it could be done but hed have to perm remove the lower hand guard retainer and switch gas tubes. he said. "oh never mind". oh well. i switched to a nice wood set. just waiting on my new gas block. (bulgy ak 74 block with lugs) i decided to actually install the proper retainer instead of butchering one like ive done before.

nahh im actually trying to sell the current one, and decided to hijack your thread for gratuitous cross advertising.

yeah it came with the rifle. . it was the one i got in trade.

I live in GRANTS NEW MEXICO. no b.s. i work at cibola county correctional center. I worked at the copper mill there for a good while before leaving to work for the State. The copper mill was the lowest paying one at the time in the nation. I do miss the open sky there. What i dont miss was the Navajo Rez. I can't tell you how many times I got pulled over just trying to cross the checkerboard. the worst was ramah navajo p.d. . short story? they suck.

LOOKING FOR A GAS BLOCK OFF AN AK 74 FOR A SAIGA X39 CONVERSION. I WAS TOLD THE BULGARIAN ONES ARE THE ONES I NEED. thank you

so i got pissed off last night and ended up beating the gas block of my s39 off with a sledge hammer. now im looking for a replacement with lugs. from what i understand i would need a ak 74 gas block. (preferrably bulgarian) anyone have one they want to sell me?

i guess it depends on your religion (big can o worms i will not open here) personally if things have gottent that bad. well you gotta do what you gotta do.
