  1. I have no idea, but if I were going to go for a milled Century gun, I would probably just ignore the Centurion 39 and just get the Polish 1960 AK instead, given that those are a bit cheaper. But as others have said, for what a Centurion 39 costs, I agree that one would be better off buying an Arsenal AK instead. Well, either that, or I would go with the VZ-58 if I really wanted a rifle with a milled receiver. That's a pretty good point. I was just curious to see if anyone has shot one of these before is all, I actually had no intention of buying, just doing some R&D.
  2. Good to see things are starting to get moving again, but it's a slow process for sure.

  5. Rough times right now, that explains my constant absence. Lots of things to sort out, hope to be active again soon.

  7. We do, but you must be a contributor to post a WTS in it. OK, I screwed up. Thanks, jcs44 All good, figured I'd let you know before mods got on ya.

  9. Personally, I think it's hideous, but it's absolutely doable. I'd need several pairs of hands to count how many I've seen with one.
  10. It would seem unnatural to flip the mag instead of just letting it hit the ground Agreed, then again, I've never tried it.
  11. Well put. I often wonder how this would play out in the U.S. I hear people talk sometimes and say that "the majority" of the military would never turn their arms against the people. Having been in myself, I don't believe that is true in all cases. I believe there are blind followers who simply obey. Like anything else, people are people. Some are good, some are bad, some simply follow and some make their own decisions. That's another consideration for us. I've seen the free-thinkers and the followers in the system as well.
  12. That's blasphemy to the old-timers who insist prices will never go back down.
  13. Bvamp has that answer, we're all patiently awaiting his release of information. Especially me
  14. I posted it with you in mind bro! Where's mah candy?!
  15. It's not un-American at all. He's just a lazy, moronic dumbass who can't afford the correct equipment.

  17. No I got outbid at the last second. I got bid-sniped.
  18. I'm just worried I will drill into my barrel if I use my Dremel. How well does the pipe cutter method work to check for threads before I remove the FSB? That method didn't really work for me, I ended up not having threads anyway. As for cutting into the barrel, it's pretty damn thick. What you can do, is cut in a bit and take a rubber mallet and give it a good thwack. I cut in slightly on both sides, and one good hit broke the metal apart and I twisted the FSB off. The GB required a lot less, cut in on both sides and broke it in two. Then I just pulled it apart and I was done.
  19. I want to change out my FSB with a threaded one, but have bad thoughts about doing it myself This may be one time I don't do the work myself. I have no problem admitting my lack of confidence on this project Trust in yourself, young one. Try and you will surely succeed.
  20. It'll fit for sure but you'll have to knock off the FSB and BG as stnls1911 said. Another excuse to get rid of the neutered shit on your rifle
  21. Who knows? We'll have to do our own research though as BVamp can't seem to provide any insight on anything. I'm going to check a few local stores to see what they have in stock and they're going for later in the week. Any jump in price from any of the forum vendors? I've seen prices jump on Gunbroker, but that's just some assholes trying to rip others off.
  22. Maybe he bought all the Saigas :lolol: LOL!!! Either way, I'm sick of people who are all talk and no action.
