  1. I like the ability to adjust the LOP, plus MOE stock had a more comfortable cheek weld and nice rubber pad.
  2. Still waiting for the thread die so I can thread the barrel and put slant brake on. Otherwise it's done. I might replace the grip with U.S. Palm one. CAA stock adapter, Magpul MOE stock, Ultimak rail and Primary Arms fixed base red dot.
  3. Installed an Ultimak rail, and trimmed the stock handguard to fit. I don't necessarily need all the length, and I also don't need the rails, or I would get an Ultimak tri-rail. Looking for something light, that won't looked hacked together.
  4. Looks good. I got CAA tube for my Saiga, and deciding what stock to go with. I have MOEs on two of my ARs, so I was looking for something different, but I might have to go with MOE, can't beat the price.
  5. looks good. how much are they and who makes/sells them? also, what kind of modifications will I need to do to the receiver?
  6. I like the LOP of the Tapco factory fixed stock, but would like a side folder with a good cheek weld. Originally I looked into Romanian side folders, but I know I won't be happy with it. I don't care about keeping it true to it's Russian roots, so what's the best folding stock out there (if it's LOP adjustable even better)?
  7. I have an MD arms Molot grip and Tapco fixed stock. I want $10 for the grip, $25 for the stock, plus shipping. Also have Phantom Hider 14x1LH Extra Deep (PFH14EXT) http://www.dinzagarms.com/brakes_hiders/phantom.html new, never installed $35
  8. got any cheek weld when looking through the RDS? maybe chin weld?
  9. I am pretty sure I have threaded barrel under that front sight base's sleeve. What do you use to cleanly cut it off?
  10. I drive a Titan and it's been largely problem-free, with a few minor things covered by warranty. Not sure when you get back from deployment, there's a talk of them being discontinued, but I would recommend you include it in your search.
  11. here's mine. Tromix FCG, Tapco "original" buttstock and MD Arms Molot Style AK Pistol Grip. 30round ProMag magazines are not pictured. I'm going to leave the Saiga handguard on for now, but will go with something a bit "original" further down the line.
  12. just convert it. i just got my Saiga (my first AK-type rifle), and i was worried about doing it myself and was looking to just send it away to get converted. then last weekend, i drilled the pins out, took it all apart, ordered my trigger parts, PG and butt stock from Mississippi Arms and I had it back together in no time at all. i even installed the BHO, didn't like how it felt, took it all apart again, put a small washer instead and put it back together again. it's easy. hardest part was drilling out the rivets.
