People used to pay over $200.00 for them on e-gay. It's the key piece that makes the gun truly durable. Even in temps so low that non-reinforced polymer front tabs would be (AND ARE) prone to snapping easily. Bottom line, is they are built to military specifications. I have a PK-AS side mount that is offset to the barrel. It's on my AK though. I like it.
