  1. There was a new guy that took that call. There were that many on the floor. I've got about 200 in back.
  2. The book is actually doing a little too well, so you can't get it anymore. Seriously, Monster Hunter International did good enough that I came to the attention of a major publisher. I even managed to get my self published version onto the Entertainment Weekly bestseller list. I've sold the rights for MHI to Baen books. Their version will come out in 2009 and be available in bookstores everywhere. I'm currently working on part II.
  3. We're open. The business is doing fine. You can call 801-571-1160 and place your order over the phone. The webpage went down, (the old one sucked) and the plan was to have the new one up shortly. That of course, didn't work out as planned. The new page is almost done, and right now we're just uploading products to the shopping cart. It should probably be up by this weekend if everything goes according to plan. That's what happens when you have a business made up of a bunch of gun experts who know jacksquat about webpages. We moved from our tiny little location into a 10,000 squar
  4. When did you receive their payments? Duh. Well, that shouldn't be a real shocker to you, since we went over that for three pages in that other thread. But hey, any reason to curse us again, right?
  5. Dude, theirs went in the mail the same day yours did.
  6. When I became aware of the problem, I had no complete mags to ship. As soon as more parts (in this case, retainers) came in, we built all of them, and sent them all at the same time. Less than 48 hours passed between when the parts arrived, and when they went out. And I'm not fat. Nothing I do, or say, at this point will make any difference. Those of you who ordered on the preorder got a 27% discount off the regular price, so you did get something for ordering early. Everyone involved should have their mags in the next couple of days. What's done is done. You hate
  7. We checked a bunch of different .308s before we designed these. There is some difference between them on the mag well dimensions, so we were conservative to make sure that they would fit easily into all of the guns out there. Some guns will have more wobble than others.
  8. Not unwilling, just plain unable. December has been psychotic. It is the busiest time of the year for all retail, plus we had an audit and compliance inspection. Like I said, we just hired two more people so that we could keep up. And I didn't suddenly remember your name. I just realized your screen name was related to your real name, (it is kind of distinct) and I remember writing out the address for that specific last name. And I didn't try to conceal anything. As soon as I realized that I had got some of them out of order, I admitted it. There was no intent to hide anything
  9. What is wrong with it? Fit? Function?
  10. Texas, I'm actually not at the store today. That's the only reason I've got time to sit on this thread and post. I'll look tomorrow when I get into the shop.
  11. macbeau, I understand your frustration. Believe me, this has been frustrating for us too. The extra mag body was an incentive to get preorders. The goal was to hit 1500, and based upon what posters told us they would order, we thought that was achievable. However we weren't even close. In fact we were so far away that we had to go into massive personal debt to fund this project. At this point, we haven't made a dime back on these magazines yet, and are still recouping mold costs. For a small company, this was a huge endeavor. So honestly, I'm just trying to get everything out
  12. Now you're putting words in my mouth. We wanted to use flat-rate postal bags to ship, because we have a better track record with USPS than UPS for bunches of small packages. There is no good way to ship individual springs in a postal bag because they will get bent. And most of the answers on the polls we put up in those first couple days while we were considering it indicated that people wanted their mags complete. Plus it wouldn't have mattered for you personally because at that point I had already mixed up the orders. I've apologized. I put the orders out of order. Your m
  13. That got scraped as soon as we found that there was no way we could manage to ship them without endangering the springs. We had the idea to speed things up, but it turned out to not be feasible. Building them first was actually a lot more labor intensive and was actually much harder for us, but we felt it resulted in a better product for you guys. and that isn't true at all. I have about seven or eight orders that had problems, which isn't bad out of several hundred, and those would have been taken care of shortly. I've said repeatedly that there was some problems with that, and th
  14. Never claimed to be a tough guy. But I don't make a habit of calling random people on the internet "cocksuckers" and telling them to F off either, so what do I know. Monomonk, I explained myself several times. And I explained it to you before you started this thread about our lack of responsiveness. I understand the frustration, and we were doing everything we could to make it right. We did not have the time, nor the resources to look up every single order, especially when the majority would ship by Christmas. Now individual problems can be dealt with. I understand the need to v
  15. John. Yes, we will be building them continuously now. DaGroaner, you got the same response everyone did. Give us until Christmas to have everything out, and then we would investigate any individual problems. There was not enough time in the day to answer all of the calls and e-mails about the magazines, and to look up each individual order when in a couple of weeks every single one would have shipped. At that point there would only be a handful with issues, and we could deal with them. We hired two more people to work in the store during December because we've been so busy.
  16. Nope. Yours went in the mail on Saturday. I remember your name. Yes, as you can see from the PM, we're trying to take care of problems as best as we can. Mistakes happen, and we've never build a new product from scratch, and then been overwhelmed by orders, calls, PMs, and e-mails about it like we were with this. If we've been slow to respond during December, it is because we're in the busiest time of the year for a gun business, and there has been a lot going on. That is why I repeatedly said that everything would be on the way before Christmas, and then we would take care of any
  17. Okay then. I think we're done here. DaGroaner, your magazines are on the way as of Saturday. I hope you enjoy them. Don't know what else to tell you. I'm going to walk away from this before I say something that may reflect badly on my company.
  18. Look, I am sorry that I screwed up. There was about seven or eight people who ordered right at the very beginning who I mistakenly put further back into the stack. It was an honest mistake, and as soon as we had more parts, we shipped those orders. I've apologized repeatedly for that. And once again, I am sorry. Now on that note, you are taking this real personal like I was trying to shaft you. If I wanted to shaft you, I would have just shipped several hundred magazines at a time to the big dealers first, and made you guys wait. But we haven't done that. The big dealers haven't got
  19. DaGroaner, I'm sorry you feel that way. We did the best that we could. Nobody screwed anybody on purpose. Some of the orders got out of order and we missed some of you that ordered early. It was nothing malicious. Then we filled them as fast as we could based upon what parts we had on hand. Every order has been shipped. You know what guys, I risked my HOUSE on building these magazines. After years of the saiga community getting dicked around by con artists, we stepped up to the plate and made these things. It isn't like the magazine fairy brings us parts and we make one mag at
  20. Every single order that has been placed as of last week has been shipped out on Saturday afternoon. Everyone should be getting their mags over the next couple of days. That was a lot of packages. (they literally filled the back of my truck with a camper shell). The post office folks had a heart attack when I showed up. So figure with USPS delays over Christmas traffic, you should all be getting your magazines shortly. If there are any that still haven't arrived after that, then we will take care of the problem.
  21. You're not one to complain? Sure about that? And you haven't recieved any information or response? How many times have I or PvtPyle told you that we would have every single preorder shipped before Christmas? Sounds like a response to me. I think your title of this thread is a little misleading and denigrating to my company since I responded to you no less than 3 times in that last thread that all preorders would be out before Christmas, even if we did manage to get some of them out of order. Once again, all preorders will be out by Christmas. If anyone who preordered does no
  22. We're doing the best that we can, and at any time if you are tired of waiting and want a full refund, I will be glad to give your money back. In the meantime, we're going as fast as we can, and I have hundreds of e-mails to respond to. I'm not in a position right now where I can track down each individual order. In a couple of weeks every preorder should be shipped, and then I can track down the individual problems.
  23. The only problem I see with that is that we have no idea whether or not our orders were ever shipped in the first place, so how could we even begin to know if they were lost in shipping? That's why I said every preorder will have shipped by Christmas.
  24. Guys, you have to understand that we received a huge number of orders, and they all flooded in about the same time. Some were called in, some were e-mailed to me, some were e-mailed to James, some came in via PM on this board, or off of several other webboards, most came in from the shopping cart. It was confusing to say the least. The orders were sorted to the best of our ability. If somebody was bumped back in line, it was not on purpose. I've got dealers who are ordering hundreds, and they have to take a back seat to each individual on the preorder. We're still on track to hav
  25. Check with FBMG and get your Delivery Confirmation number. Then you can see if they've been attempted, delivered, or forwarded. If your mail is being held, the article will show as "Attempted". Of course this is assuming yours were sent Priority Mail w/DelCon. If they were sent via "OOPS" (UPS), then you should have a tracking number. Everything that has gone so far has gone via US Priority Post. Unless you ordered a large quantity, then it went UPS. Tomorrow I can post what order number we are up to. If your order is in that range, and you don't receive it in the next week, then I c
