The biggest problem with this design is Where would you put the slide for the pump? Other than that you could design a mag that would keep the shells straight despite the rim. It would be more complex than the p90 mag. You would need little gears that would sit between each shell in the mag. The gear would fill the space between the shell equal to the space of the rims. Make them free spin in the direction of loading the mag and make a release for the gears that would be tripped by the bolt coming back so the shells could move back to prepare one for cambering. You follow me? The mag wo

I was wondering if 10rd USAS-12 mags are legal in California? Someone there is wanting to buy one from me, but I don't want to ship it there if it is illegal. I know there is a 10rd max for pistols but didn't know if shotguns were different. Thanks

Positive for nyclu3, Very fast payment and good communication. Thanks! -
I may be wrong but I think you would have a problem with the shells shifting forward if your using 2 3/4. They wouldn't have anything to keep them towards the back of the mag.

The ak style saftey is 100% drop safe. You can see this just by looking into the receiver with the cover off and remove the bolt carrier. You will see it is completely safe.

no I am waitng on one of the new usas semi's due out in the next few months, looked one over this weekend, had another fellow offer $750 on the drum at knob creek but i know I probably wouldnt find another What do you mean "new semi usas semi's due out in the next few months" Where did you get this info. I would like to see it. Please respond. Is it something similar. Because the usas is a DD and they can't make anymore for civilians. Please respond.

I don't think they ever went into production. Even if it did they would have to sporterize it befor they would import it. It looks to me though that it is longer than the typical saiga and that those woth shorter arms might not be able to work it comfortably.

I don't agree with there veiws of guns, but Ebay ins't going anywhere. There are a mega company and 24 more states could do this and they would still be here. They are virtually worldwide. The only true people that will be hurt by this is Louisiana sellers and the state itself. I'm sure that a good chunk off money coming into theeir stae will be lost by this. They will probably reverse it. -
I bought a converted Saiga 12 with a 22in barrel and want to cut it to 18inch. Also I bought a unconverted Saiga 12 and want to convert it. Could someone point me in the right direction to preform the conversion and to modify the gas system for a 18inch barrel?

Positive for TKPROTECTION Fast shipping and good communication. Not to mention a good deal. Thanks again!!!! I also would like to post positive feedback for Telly458. We have had a couple transactions and he does pay very quickly. He also is a very nice guy. Anybody that owns a USAS-12 has to be a good guy, right!!! -
I have disassembled and cleaned the entire gas system- port, pistons, interior.... The saiga doesn't look like it has been shot much, due to wear and level of sot. Also it looks like most of the this must have been before the conversion as well because the hammer is still black with finish with just the slightest amount of metal showing on it. I will give it a try first thing in the morning. If it still doesn't cycle I will try to polish the hammer down a little. I appreciate the quick responses. I will give you my results tomorrow. Thanks A Lot. MikeD.

I just picked up a saiga 12 today that I bought off the forum. (couldn't wait for the shorty to clear to shot one) It is converted but still has a 22inch barrel. I only shot 7rds out of it because it was getting dark. I was shooting walmart cheapes 2 3/4 winchesters , you know the $16 per hundred. Anyways it failed to cycle every shot. I'm not sure which position the setting sits, I asume the number by the lock you depress, but anyways. The first 2 shots barely opened the bolt and I think it was in position one, if that is the setting by the lock. So I asumed it was the wrong setting a

Talked to Tony. He said it was possible to make. He said that it would only cost about $250,000.00 to design and make. I'm starting a list if you want one.
