Well I just came back from the range, I fired 200 rounds total. 100 rounds of magtech .308, 40 rounds of British radway green nato and 60 rounds of German dag nato. The gun functioned perfectly and was very accurate. The magtech grouped a little tighter than the other 2 surplus ammo and seemed hotter. No joking the recoil was less than my Arsenal slr107cr, the muzzle break works great. The gun stayed on target rather well during rapid fire considering its a .308 rifle. Im very impressed and Im not missing my FAL so much anymore.

Yeah rip off bastards sell them for that much. I bought 4 for $145 after taxes. $15 cheaper than M1A mags I saw on gunbroker some asshole was selling the empty boxes for $8 and the mags for $100

Why thankyou sir, I saved for a long time and had to get rid of my awesome FAL to get it, but it was worth it. I picked it up for $2435, after taxes it came to $2608 and thats before the mags. I had to drive a couple hours out to the country to pick it up cause my local shop was charging $3050 for one. 200 mile drive I saved $600 and I got it in black like I wanted.

Unfortunately not, it takes modified FAL mags. The 17 is kinda new so mags are hard to get, I was lucky to get the 4 extra.

I got a scar 17 today, had to trade in my FAL and drive 200 miles but I got a black one in .308 for a very very good price, along with 4 extra mags. This thing is only 8 lbs but feels less, will shoot nato 7.62x51mm and .308 and apparently sub moa with match ammo. Im thinking more along the lines of 1 moa but still damn good. The only thing I wish it had was an adjustable gas system like the FAL but oh well. I cant wait till tomarrow Im going to the range. Man this thing is sweet! And im focking broke lol. Some gun porn

They were stupid and greedy yes, and also very angry. They got away with almost 2 mil in cash before their famous shootout. If that was me i would have retired with the money and would have been sitting on a beach somewhere with a lil umbrella in my drink chasing pussy. I think even if they had gotton away with 50 mil, they would have kept on doing it till they got what they really wanted.. A gun fight with the police.

Well technically yes...but realistically every man knows his position and everyones else's position in case things get mixed up. Also, the rear man usually comes up from the rear, breaches and rolls away from the door as the team enters and then he follows them in. Thats what I was saying. In SOG the lead guy breached the door with the saiga master key, then transitioned back to his AR grip and went in first.

Im no weapons and tactics expert but a much better idea would be for the lead guy to breach the door with a remmy 870 or a good ol fashioned door breacher and then have him go in last while the guys behind him go in immediately after breach. Its faster than a transition even with a "master key".

Ah, yeah that must be rough up there too. Worst cars I have ever seen are the ones around here from south Jersey, they get salt for the snow all winter and salt air from the beach all year. Worked on an 07 Mercury that looked like it was ten-fifteen years old underneath Its just a big racket with the cities and car companys. But man dried pickle juice is gonna smell bad, I doubt they invented a a non smelling pickle juice lol. I dont think itll last long once people start complaining.

I know about salts Im in the twin cities metro and I have to wash my car once a week. They didnt say, it was like a 4 min seg and they just said New Jersey.

I just saw on the news that to help save money during the winter months, NJ will now be using PICKLE JUICE on roads and highways to melt snow and ice They say it melts the stuff just as good as the salt but will only cost 7 cents a gallon. WTF! Are they purposely trying to make NJ smell bad now? I cant imagine how bad it will smell, like someone took a huge hot dump in a pickle factory. Classy, what the hell is going on out there?

After almost a year of sporter 12g fun, I decided to convert my S12. I was gonna do it myself but what Ive decided to do will require better gunsmithing skills than I possess. I have a sweet Arsenal slr107cr, the one with the folding stock (see pic below) I love it, and I really want the same stock on my conversion. It would be cool to have an AK and S12 with this stock, sort of keeping the AK style weapons uniform. I know this will require more work than a normal conversion and I dont even want to try it for fear of jacking it up. So im going to order the stock from KVAR ($$$$) which

Id say shoot a bunch of full power buck like 100 rounds on setting 1 and if you have no problems try a couple hundred rounds of the cheap stuff on setting 2. If the gun passes this test Id say youre good to go on a conversion.

I've owned four Stags, a Stag model 1 was my first AR. I loved that rifle, put about 3k rounds of .223 downrange with it. Bought a drop in .22LR kit and put another 15k of that through it. I wasn't my best looking rifle but man that thing ran. In short I would recommend the Stag if you don't want to build one yourself. +1 to this. Nothing against DPMS, but I'd take a Stag over anything from DPMS, any day of the week. No hesitation. My first AR was a Stag and it ran like a champ, even on cheap Ruskie ammo. One thing that will help even more in keeping the price down, is assembling
