I have a Jpoint/DR optic reddot mount that was sold by Tromix back in 2007 and Tromix Shark Break that I would like to sell as a package. They are both used of course, the Optic Mount has some finish worn off on the corners mainly from rubbing around in the safe. For those that dont know, the optic mount mounts in place of the rear sight. The Shark Break had a little bit of metal rolled over on one of the top ports from takeing it off. I knocked down the rolled edge and it now is shiney in that spot. I will get some pictures up shortly. Please send me a IM or Email with any questions. Her

That spring holds the hammer and trigger pins in, you dont need 'that spring' but you would have to use a alternative to hold the two pins. You can use a Sheperds crook or even a few E-clips too hold the pins.

From the looks of it either Buckmeister or Dogbone. Probably Dogbone would be the best bet for shortest time to wait. Not really to sure where the ones that I sent out are at? Figured when they get to the end someone will post here that they are ready to go out again. Hunter P.M. with your Addy info and out they will go got them today and will reship by fri. Karl ( Dogbone21) Yeah...I started the thread, so I dont need them. Not really to sure where the order is anymore. It is a little confusing, and to be honest I am not keeping track. If I were you I would just start here on

I had a Socom for awhile but the recoil of the s12 basicly started to beat the locking mechanism into submission. The little metal tabs on the tube that hold the stock in place started to bend over. It started to be difficult to change settings and often would lock up. I disassembled everything and had to take a file to clean up the areas that started to mushroom. I ended up tradeing the stock for a CTR and I have been pretty happy with the trade so far. In my opinion the Socom is great for low recoil stuff but I dont think it will hold up to the S12 in the long run. Also I shot mostly the bul

Alright guys heres the deal, I was in search of hole plugs and I ordered from widgetco.com which has a minimum $10 order. SO I ended up with 100 hole plugs. I am going to be keeping 8 of them for my self. There is now 92 left over or 23 sets of 4 left. The first person to respond to this thread with a " I will take them" "I want some" etc etc.... will get the 92 hole plugs sent to them by me for free. You take what you need, and then it is your responsibility to send the remaining hole plugs to the next guy in line(the guy that posts below you) and so on and so on. If no one gets greedy...

To paint or not to paint the inside of the reciever?
hunter121 replied to hunter121's topic in Tech Section
Indy- I thought about it but my job is so uncertain that I would not be able to commit to something like that. I can get a call today and have to be on the road by tonight with my travel trailer heading across the U.S. to a job. I am often gone from home 8-10months at a time. I was thinking about a pay it forward kind of thing where I take what I want and send the rest off to the next person in line and so on and so forth. Still kinda thinking about doing that one. -

The way I ended up doing it was with a cordless drill with a wire wheel to get the old paint off and then I used laquer thinner to clean everything up, then I taped off the areas that I did not want the paint. The Aluma hyde comes in a spray paint can so I just shook the crap out of it and went to town. It turned out pretty good except for where the dust cover goes on at. I must have missed a spot getting it cleaned up as it chiped away really easy right there. I will have some touching up to do, but its all fun and games . I think the best route would be a airbrush with duracoat or somet -

SPF - TATACTICAL Hey guys, I thought I had this sold already but it is once again up for grabs. I have a new, never installed LRBHO for the S12 I would like to sell. I had full intentions on installing this into my S12 but I finaly decided the factory BHO was good enough for me. Heres a link to the original ad which will have another link to a PDF instructions( I will include a printed copy ).Jerics LRBHO instructions/original ad I am asking $60 shipped conus useing Priority mail. USPS money orders prefered but I will take PP + 3.5%. Also this is my first 'for sale' ad her

Thats correct, I made a little 'dog leg' at the end of the short end so it would stay on the BHO better. I am sure this most likely is not neccesary for everyone but I was having issues with the spring staying on the BHO with out the dog leg when I was trying to get the fire controll group installed. Basicly how I ended up with the above was this: 1. installed with short leg towards mag- Worked at first but after a few tries with the BHO it started to hang up the BCG and would not let go even with pulling the BCG back. 2. Re-installed with short leg towards the rear/buttstock- Worked o

Aluma Hyde II from brownells. Its a no bake finish, but it takes awhile to cure. I did a barrel for a AR and it turned out great but the job I just did on the S12 is 'OK' and it appears I will have some touch ups to do. I must not of preped the shotty as good as I thought.

Heres a picture of the inside of my S12, hopefully it will clear any questions up. I never cut the BHO, it is all factory. I also had to pull the spring down with some fishing line so I could get the trigger pin threw the hole of the spring. The safety selector was installed before any thing else.

I appreciate the offer, but my need for the pins was/is only cosmetic. I ended up hitting the ones that I had with the AHII just to see how they would turn out and they still fit in the reciever after words so I am good to go . Again thank you for the offer.

I am still planing on painting the area you describe, but it will be black. I have to wait untill the OD drys before I tape it off so I can work in that area. In hind sight I should have sanded that whole area down with the rest of it and then taped it off. Now I have to be extra carefull not to screw up the OD paint when I am sanding it down. I already have all the little pieces done in the matte black and the only thing left is the area that is still the factory paint. I will most likely wait untill next weekend before I screw with anything to make sure the AHII cures enough for me to s
