How accurate is that? it sounds like it wouldnt work or wouldnt be very accurate but then it wouldnt have a cool name like "bore sightning" i guess.

There were some pretty good cr123 storage grips...i almost bought one of those instead!

And this thing is pretty damn cool. I also got the adjustment "wrenches" that allow you to sight in the laser. Hey Cobra! Didn't you say that you sighted in yours by looking down the bbl or something? This is a welcome addition to my setup.

Inparidel, ive found that loading the saiga on a closed bolt to be a bit more challenging. Pulling back on the charging handle gets me stuck on the first shell but it can be done by hand. If one was in the pipe already im quite sure that the racoil would send the bolt flying back much easier than my hands. Ive never tried it though.

All i ever shoot is 2 3/4 winchester super x rifled hollowpoing slugs, and unfortunately I dont have any other ammo on hand to try out. You are correct about the #2 pencil but the mag seems much too hard for me to have scratched it, and upon inspection ive found no burrs. Basically you depress the spring from the bottom (being careful to mind the stored mechanical energy of the spring once its loose), remove the floorplate and the spring with attached follower. From there you just color on any surface that the follower rides and let me tell you it is a bitch to do with normal pencils but

So the only things that I did to my two magazines was pencil the insides, cut off two coils from each spring, and install the new spring steel feed lips. Im thinking that because I cut off those two coils that there just isnt enough spring power to keep things moving as fast as they should be with these new ultra beastly feed lips. I wonder if its even possible that these lips are compressing the walls of the magazine JUST enough to be catching the rim of the shells? I heard Kevin ran over one of these mags and it survived to that nearly rules it out but I cant be sure. When pulling out shells

FINISHED!!!! I had to grind a little off of the cinch itself to nestle between the ribbing of the mags but it wasnt hard at all.

with sufficient filing the mag clamps up there ^^^ willl work fine. I will file tomorrow and post pics

You know, i took a chunk out of my Halo's finish when i went to adjust my gas settings I always thought a Key type tool that went inside the pit but not out side of it would help, but im getting the gasport laser so I wouldnt need one Good Idea though no tools just by hand, I'd like to see it done.
