  1. Used to be when? I seem to recall the majority of games were in the arcade first, then ported to Atari, Nintendo, Sega, Super Nintendo, Genesis, Playstation, etc, then MAYBE to PC. PC games were usually the boring Myst clones, text and picture RPG's, and first person shooters. The only PC game that was truly great in those days was Syndicate. They eventually ported that to the consoles and man, did it suck balls. It was only really in the mid to late 90's early 00's that PC gaming became prime time. But yeah, in case you didn't know Battlefield 3 is designed for PC and ported to the c
  2. Technically it's the 20k. I know this because I have over 400 kills with it. My BFBC2 Stats
  3. Hey man, thanks for the heads up. I've been looking for some of these since February.
  4. I figured out the problem as soon as I saw your second picture. Those Surefire mags suck ass. I had one and it failed to feed every time. If you're hell bent on keeping it there is a thread on here about how to modify it. You need to file down some plastic to get the rim of the round to protrude more above the lip. I ended up sending mine back in exchange for factory mags.
  5. Saiga Stock is great. Shipping was decent and I got them in a couple days. The mags were brand new with inspection papers and instructions, wrapped in the same anti-corrosion paper as the rifle and plastic bagged. Oh, and they all worked flawlessly.
  6. My S410 is bone stock. Hell, my AR15 is pretty plain jane too.
  7. There's probably some language in the confirmation email or it's subject line that's getting it auto-flagged as spam.
  8. I've been testing out different ammo in my .410 and I thought I'd post some results. So far I've only been able to test slugs, but I should be running some buckshot tests in the coming weeks. It would be great if others could post some of their own results to help everyone with their ammo selection. Note: All my shooting is done at 25 yards standing with iron sights only with the gas regulator set to magnum shells. Golden Bear 3" Magnum 97 grain Sabot Slugs: These are easily my slug of choice. After putting 100 rounds through 4 different magazines I haven't had a single failure. O
  9. I thought Saiga Stock was common knowledge by now. I'm going to be testing out my 2.5ers this weekend.
  10. Why would it be limited? We do get the internet here in California. As to my point, I just got on Midway USA, Cheaper Than Dirt, Sportsman's Guide, and Ammunition To Go and not one of them had a single box of 00 or 000 in 20 gauge. Searching the web all I got were people in forums asking "Why can't I find 00 or 000 buckshot in 20 gauge," so I don't think it's just me. As I said, there is a ton of variety for birdshot and slugs, but the larger buck just isn't there. Of course it depends on what the gun's main purpose is right? I'm not hunting quail or deer with mine. It's intended to
  11. I'm fairly new to all things Saiga, but I need to chime in here. I dug around for about a month and a half before I finally decided on the .410, and it mostly came down to ammo. While the 20ga does seem to have a bit more overall variety in slugs and birdshot, I can't seem to find much of the larger buckshot. The best I've seen was #2 and (rarely) 00, while the .410 have a few different combinations of #4, 00, and 000, as well as a decent selection of birdshot and slugs. Cheaper Than Dirt has some good selection and prices, but I prefer Ammunition To Go. Another thing that I keep seein
  12. So in case anyone is still interested, I took the gun out this past Saturday with the modified Bullet Button and the factory mags were flawless. The Button's design is really nice. Just four screws is all it takes with absolutely no modification of the gun itself. If it weren't for that stupid lip it'd be perfect. Anyhow, I've attached some pictures of the whole setup. Now I just need to stock up on factory mags. Modified Bullet Button Close-Up of Installation
  13. First let me say I that fully agree that MAA is great all the way around. I'm sure I've annoyed them quite a bit with my pre-sales questions, but they were always quick to respond (which is why the delay during Shot Show threw me). I'd gladly recommend them to anyone for their firearm needs. Now onto the update. I heard back from MAA that the bullet button they sent is the only one made by that particular manufacturer. It seems that most CA residents who get the .410 also get the 5rd SGM mags which would explain why no one has reported problems with it. Apparently it was designed for
  14. I heard back from Mississippi Auto Arms today. Turns out they were just busy with Shot Show. It seems most folks are using the curved SGM 5 round mags which has clearance for the lip on the button. I'd considered these as an option, I've seen that some folks are having FTF's with them and certain shells. I think I'm going to grind down the one I have and test it out before I do anything else. If anyone's interested in such mundane things I can keep you all updated on the project.
