has anyone converted their 5.45 krinkov?

guys, Legion is the Russian company, they are exporting, and all the saigas that got their RAA stamp removed, have been in the states for close to a year now, just been sitting at other places than stores, and just now are hitting the shelves, and Mercury Hermes is what replaced the RAA, they are taking all the RAA saigas, and putting their own stamp on it, but notice that the trunnions are not Izhmash anymore, ever since the Mercury took over, they paint their saigas, including the axles, and rear sight leafs and BHOs, plus for some reason their groupings are shittier too, i have 1 RAA and 2

where do i buy a 5.45 now days?

Does anyone know what threads are on the 7.62 saiga cleaning rod that comes with it originally? is it metric? Standard? what size?

change out the entire FSB, it will look cool with the 74 style break, plus u can put a cleaning rod in

i got the furniture from gunbroker, it came with a sling too, but they guy did not know who made it, i believe its Romanian i will put on Russian red wood on soon (already coming in mail from Ukraine) to make it look really authentic

you can use any standard ak gas tube, but you will most likely have to modify it a little bit, a simple dremel takes care of it withing 5 sec, i like vented gas tubes, they look nice, but only the original ak-47s and early AKMs had those, so depends on what ur trying to make ur saiga look like, and if ur trying to put that lower hand guard retainer on, i believe you dont have to take ur FSB or gas block off, it is a bolt-on, correct? plus it does not really make a difference whether it is vented or not (unless you use optics, vented is better for optics, less gas hits it)

an AKM should not have a vented tube; but we are talking about commies So commies never put vented gastubes on AKMs?

Dude if you going to shell out the money for a noveske barrel you should have gotten the fluted one it kicks ass. I love my AR's they have there purpose as said earlier "ammo and mags are easier to pick off dead feds" and my AK's are for long term SHTF situation. dead feds? i hope to be out of sight of anyone when it comes down to it, i hope to be somewhere far away from the city when the "feds" start dropping, just kidding

is that a saiga? and what if you wanted to put a bayonet on?

What is the main difference between gas tubes, the vented ones and not vented? which original rifles came with vented? was it AKM, and than it switched to none-vented?

still, when it comes to reliability, cant really compare them to a saiga
