i think the longest barrell length available is 22". thats how long the barrell on my .308 is. as far as accuracy goes, i dont have a scope, so im not gunna be accurate at long ranges, but it seems to do well at 50 yards or closer with iron sights.

i agree, i love my nagant. its well built, it feels solid, all wood and metal, no plastic, steel buttplate, and a nifty foldable bayonet. the very first round i fired out of this gun hit the bullseye at 100 yards. of course that was pure luck

ive never used one of those, but i did make the mistake of not wearing ear plugs when i walked by a guy shooting one. i think that is by far the loudest gun i have ever heard btw, which one are you planning on buying? those taurus raging bulls are nice

thousand son, my suggestion is to get out of california all i do here in the great state of Texas is answer the yes/no questions on the yellow sheet, show my drivers license, they call fbi, and i walk out the door with a new gun. it takes about 10 minutes for the whole process

i've found that there is a wider variety of .308, and its easier to obtain, but i love shooting 7.62x54. i think the 7.62x54 is my favorite round of all. the only problem is, i have to go to gun shows to buy it since the only store in my area that carries it wants $35 for a box of 20 rounds

one thing i'd like to point out is that if the economy is doing poorly, bush probably isnt the one to blame. alan greenspan has much more authority as far as the economy goes than bush

i completely disagree! but to each their own. as long as you have reasons to hate bush, and are able to make an argument, than by all means do so. and it sounds like you have your own opinions on the matter, and thats what being an American is all about. i just get sick of people who say they hate bush, and when asked why they respond by saying something moronic like "he's an idiot", or "he's an alcoholic"

im having a lot of trouble finding that bayonet lug, every time i do a search, the sites that say they have a lug for a 870 in their description cant be displayed for some reason

it came with the bayonet lug, heatshield, and everything else. thats the reason why i got that one. you can see more pics of it here - http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=743 i did a google search to find out where to get a bayonet for it (it turns out that it uses the same m9 bayonet as the m16), and i came across another site that had the bayonet lug to attach to an 870. i dont remember what it was, though. i'll do another search and i'll see what i can come up with...

that looks like the 308 with synthetic stock with a 16" barrell. you could probably get it for less than $300 new
