Hi guys, I do not have very much experience with scopes nor have done much research yet but I was looking to get something nice for my VEPR .308. I have a Leopold on my 30-06 but have not used it very much. I would like to stay in a budget around 600 dollars. I don't really care about name as much as performance. This will be used for target shooting, I do not hunt. Most shooting will be done in the 100 to 300 yard range and probably go no farther than 500 yards. I do have poor eyesite and should go get contacts or glasses someday..... Will be for daylight shooting do not need

I use the 512 on a few rifles as well and love it. Keep in mind it is for fast target acquisition and not long range accuracy but for the 12 don't need to worry about that anyway

Just wanted to update that the plate fitted on my converted s12 is holding up great have a couple hours of carry time with it loaded with 20 round drum or 12 round mag.

Here is mine nearing completion Tapco G2 trigger with CSS Guard, Chaos Extended Quad with HK Sights, Competition Brake and lock nut, Axis Retaining Plate, Meanstreet Sling Plate, Low Brass Reliability Kit, Tromix Charging Handle, I polished the internals and did the work myself. I have not had any FTE's since the work was completed so did not do the gas ports. I do like the work ICE does also want to add a SAW grip since I just got my rails.
