    Saiga 12 $599

Great price... Nice to see the prices coming down, I just picked one up yesterday for $581
  4. On the ones I install, I drill through the carrier and op rod with a 1/8" bit. Then I taper the hole on both sides of the carrier, and peen the 1/8" steel rod on both sides, after cutting it about 1/4" longer than the OD of the carrier. It is hammered down into the taper on each side, then carefully ground flush and the carrier refinished. That's how I do them anyway..... I've seen some where people just used a roll pin. I wouldn't trust that though. Thanks thats easy enough, now I just need to find a small piece of 1/8" steel stock
  5. I've been wanting to get a heavy hitter, @ the $20 price I think its fairly priced... On the HD op rods, what size are people drilling them out to? and what kind of pin do you use? a roll pin? I would think what ever pin you use would need to be peened somehow right?
  6. Where did you find info on a production halt for military run? I've kinda read at some places about a distributor change is what caused delayed shipments. But I don't know if thats true. You think prices will go back to $500's?
  7. I've been to several gun shops in my area and they all had S12's for around $700-$750 which is still pretty high in price but they are coming down. How low of a price do you think they will eventually settle at? They are all over the internet in stock ready to ship from many online retailers. So I take this as a hoax? There never was going to be a ban? Just a scare brought on my the Shot Show in Las Vegas / ATF shotgun probe.
  8. Yes it does I even had to remove a little bit of wood off the fore grip so it will fold wall the way up How much you want for it!
  9. are you going to start selling these as DIY modifed trigger sets?
  10. LOL, a little JB weld in the hole and black paint and you'll never know the battle scar build is even there!
  11. That's really nice! Does the stock lock up rock solid?

  15. I'm in the market for an SBS. I really wanted a Super Shorty, have been emailing around and have been told by one of the builders that 8in barrels have problems over long periods of heavy use. Is this true? Please give me some advise on how to modify my Saiga. If possible post pictures of your favorite builds and who built them. Thank you guys in advance for the help in steering me in the right direction. HERES REPLIED EMAIL: I will not be offering the 8in S12 anymore as it prone to failure over long periods of heavy use. quite simple the op rod is so short that it has no support when
