  1. I just order and wait for the results. I'll grant you production is more important to Mike thanextensive CS. Meeehh I don't care. I'm still awaiting my Shrike. I guess I'm not as needy as some.
  2. How do those drums work with the shorty Tromix? I've got the Tromix, but not the drum, yet. I see that there's a change in the gas plug possibly needed? How does this affect the shorty tromix with an already tuned gas system? Thanks
  3. Yep, Tony makes it on a Fm 2 registration. He then sends it out of state to a SOT on a Fm 3 (or he could use a Fm 4). Your instate SOT then transfers it to you on a Fm 4. There are some exceptions, such as selling a SBS to a PD, etc. Otherwise the above is correct, Aubie.
  4. Don't post much, but I have NO doubt that this will be a top notch ready to roll product when I receive it. It will be deserving of the Tromix 8 inch it'll be used with. The only downside: I wish I had ordered a second one at the early price. Keep up the great work!
  5. Mike, I sent you an email way back before the original thread was pulled, with words of support and requesting to purchase your product. Did you keep those of us on file for emails, or should I send you another email/PM? I figure if you already have my email, no need to duplicate it? it's just more work for you. Keep up the good work, and I can't wait!
  6. Cobra, My intention was not disrespecting the site, it has provided me lots of great info, but like many places, after you've built/altered the weapons, you don't need the initial knowledge you that you first learned. I've been at Arfcom and FalFiles for example since about 1999, and learned all I ever needed to build a bunch of Fals and AR's. I still continue to visit these sites, but lose interest in many of the posts which are basic questions from Newbies. Here, I'm interested now in MD's drums. I still look at the titles here but don't read nearly as much. Not a put
  7. I wish we'd here something from MD. I'm not going to buy any more Saiga's, and I've got all the AGP mags I'll ever need in this life. The only reason I check in on the forum is to get an update on a drum (MD's drum) for my Tromix. Things are getting really quiet around here.
  8. Mike, What's going on??? It's been ten days without any updates. Anything to help us keep up our MD20 fix??? Keep up the work and update us when you can.
  9. Mike, Please let us early emailers and supporters have a heads up? I'm on board, and will send funds whenever requested. Hopefully, dealers won't get first dips for dozens of units ahead of us guys that will actually use them. When I take a drum to the next shoot, you'll be getting more orders. The same thing happened to Tony when I took my 8" Tromix out, he got "envy" orders. LOL Keep up the good work, and don't worry about your "detractor".
  10. Mike, I'm sure glad you're doing this!! I'm curious if you kept the emails from the initial posting you made here (the bashing thread) from those of us who were interested? Kind of a early purchasers list, from those of us who sent you emails?
  11. Since my Saiga is already a SBS, I have no fear of the drum. Put me down for one please. That said, I think it's probably a bad thing for Saiga's in general, you all know why.........
  12. I sure hope that they (AGP) get caught up so i can order more mags directly from AGP. I ordered a handful from one of the "vendors" here in NOV 06, and I STILL don't have them. Needless to say, I WON'T be doing much business with them again. Note I did say NOV 06!! Ben, Please open up again, I'm getting tired of the handjob from this other group. I've got a Tromix 8" and need some more big mags.
  13. Better enjoy a little down time Tony. After taking my new 8" Saiga to the CMMG shoot in central MO last week, I'm very confident that you'll be getting some orders!! Everyone was wildly impressed, and are willing to put out for a SBS/SBR, where they aren't that impressed with MG's due to the cost.
  14. Just curious if anyone got their 10 round mags from Atlantic from this last shipment?? I'm going on near 3 months and still waiting.
  15. Well, I took my Tromix shorty Saiga-12 out today. It worked great, and I got the "cool guy" award from everyone in line to shoot it. Tony - I'm betting you'll be getting some orders, would have been more, but the rain, cold and mud were really bad. Anyway, it took it home to clean it, and I'm danged if I can get the bolt back in. I've got a PolyTech, and don't ever remember having this much trouble. I've dicked with it for 20 minutes, and now I need to walk away. I've got several other guns to clean. Does anyone have any pics, or advice on how to turn that damned bolt in the
  16. Hopefully this means that my order with Atlantic a couple months will be filled soon. Excellent!!

    "SHTF" = WTF

    JWarren, I don't know if this makes a difference on your hypothesis? Generic vs genetic Nonetheless, I think that you properly summed it up, Poverty and Entitlement Mentality. My fiance is a school teacher down South, and you were exactly right, about parents pushing for a disability diagnosis from the schools. I'm as disgusted about it as my fiance.

    "SHTF" = WTF

    OK, here's my two cents, after reading the above thread. (BTW JWarren, excellent writing skills). I've noticed that all the stories of crime, despair, SHTF, etc are either based in major urban areas or the South. I wonder why that is? Central Nebraska went without power this Dec/Jan for about 4 weeks (or more in some areas). Nobody blamed Bush; nobody looted; nobody blamed FEMA, etc. I was in North Dakota a few years ago with the huge floods. Same thing, no riots, lawlessness, etc. Now I'm not picking a fight here, but I am really curious, as to why the South has such SHTF c
  19. I just got my Tromix 8" shotgun. WOW!!! Pictures can't even begin to do justice. (Posted my pics on the posted photo thread). That said, I've got the green Galil handguards, and am thinking that a rail on the bottom might be nice for a foldable TD front hand grip. I see that the handguard appears to have one screw holding it on. What is the best way to install a short single picatinny rail just for the bottom? Who has them for sale? Is it a simple screw them into the Galil handguard operation. Thanks
  20. Just picked it my first example of TROMIX EXCELLENCE!!!!! I like!!!
  21. How many mags did you request ? I ordered two (2) mags. If you want I can email you my original email (5 Dec) and subsequent responses?
  22. Excellent!! I've been on the list since 5 Dec, so I guess I should be hearing something soon!!!! My Tromix 8" should be Form 4 approved this month. February will be a GREAT month!
  23. Well, I went to the Source (Tony Rumore aka TROMIX) and bought my first Saiga, a 8" SBS!!!!! There is nothing so sweet, or even close, except my my M60.
