  1. I just did one of mine tonight, it hand cycles well (it wouldn't even hand cycle before), I'll let you know how it goes, thanks for the heads-up. I bought some Surefire 10s to sell and then started hearing/seeing how piss-poor they worked, I've been sitting on a hand-full of them hoping for a fix so I can sell them. I hope they range test the new 15 rounder and the new 12rnd 12ga mag before they ship them, I will never buy one from their first run again, if I buy from them at all. Good luck, should work well!
  2. 3" Barnaul #4 Buck. Metal Casing Cool. Are you going to be sharing your modification info? If you own a 4rnd Mag that does work with the Steel loads, line it up with the 10 rnd and notice the difference in length of the top feed lip. I think Cobra provided pic's of this in another post. All I did was shave the lip on both side with a hacksaw blade until it mimicked the 4rnd'r. Very Simple really. *******Do so at your own risk********** If you do not feel comfortable doing this on your own, then Cobra is providing a service to do it. I am not. Foll

  4. And what should I expect from SureFire if I contacted them? Seriously, I would have expected to have seen them address this issue on their own and contact me. The fix is really easy as far as I am concerned. I just wished they would have verified that the 10rnd mags would not work with the metal rounds before shipping them out. I would not have ordered them.
  5. Finally got to test my Sure-Fire 10 rnd Mag Mod. I filled the Mag 3 times 1st round- slow shooting with all cartridges firing without incident 2nd round- steady fired with all cartridges firing without incident. 3rd round- Rapid fire with last cartridge failing to load. I will spend more time on looking at the angle that the cartridges rest in the 10 rnd Mag as compared to the 4 rnd mag. I will see if there is anything I can do to mimic. Other than that, the first test was very promising and almost acceptable.
  6. OK, I have tried to purchase 10 rnd mags for three years and got screwed by both Andrei and RussMilitary. I was one of the first to line up for the Mississippi Arms mags. I received them and was immediately disappointed to find out that they would not even chamber my Bear Buck #4. I have even tried to sell my Saiga in frustration Today, I took one the new mags and compared it to my 4 rnd 3" mag that does work. What I noticed as I observed what was happening during the chamberring action was that the Miss Arms Mags did not release the back end of the cartridge quick enough to allow

  8. No, it shoots 2.5"s as well. The 4 rnd mag is for 3" and the 10 rnd mags are 2.5's only. Thanks.

  13. I am having the same issue. I don't have anything but Russian loads. I give it an 'F'
  14. Anyone receive their mags yet?
  15. Oh the tales of Andrei. I too ordered from Andrei in July of 06 and have got nothing for my $90.00 but the run a round from Andrei. Andrei is not to be trusted. He needs to be stopped from selling on Gun Broker. Does anyone know how to stop him? K.O.
  16. Thanks for the heads-up. I just put in an order. K.O.
  17. I thought someone on this forum may have experimented with this. I would have been disappointed if someone had not. I thought I saw non-stack versions at Rusmilitary.com. don't remember the capacity. I would be interested in donating a couple to whoever has experience in 'value-engineering' of this kind of stuff. Anyway, thanks for the replies. K.O. Sorry, rusmillitary only had 7.62's and I think they were all double stacking.

  19. You are probably right, I don't know. After being bitten by Ruseller on a 10 rounder I am cautious about ordering from acreoss the big water. Was only curious if anyone had done any leg work on the 308's. By the way, I have not been active on this forum in quite a while, are 10 rounder's legal now? Thanks K.O.
  20. It seems that the 308 hi-cap mags are more easier to come by. Or is that wrong?
  21. I don't know if this question has been asked or if anyone has checked this out. Will a Saiga .308 non-stacking mag fit a saiga .410? Or, are there conversion opportunnities for the 308 to work in a 410? I ask this because the 308 and and the 410 are real close in size. I can put a 303 and a 243 in my 410 mag. These cartriges fit and manuever as easily as the 410. Note: I only experimented with the fit in the Magizine, I did not and do not advocate chamberring anything but the 410 in your 410 saiga. Thanks K.O.
