Due to the short length, I was not planning on it. If I have to, I will sleeve it as GunFun suggested, but I still question how much pressure the gas tube has to endure as all of them leak like a sieve when fired, ported or not.

Both are 20mm +\- .05 mm OD. The interior of the Mini tube is smaller. With the larger ID replacement tube installed, I have hand cycled the piston rod numerous times. There does not seem to be any excess play and everything is smooth.

My daughter Kayla wanted to make a unique gift for her boyfriend who has started collecting knives over the years. She used wood from trees that I had to remove from our property, and did all the work herself, with the exception of the angle cuts at the top of the teepee. I did those for her, not because I didn't think she could do them, but because we did them with a chop saw and they required some dangerous cuts to achieve the proper angles. The UTG Pro mount is centered and not offset. To MM's point, with the differences in tolerances and the side mounts on the receiver, it is impossible to say it is exactly centered, but to the naked eye it looks center bore. I have one that I cut down on my S12 and had one on my X39. With both I could still use the front irons through the v notch. The Pros are solid mounts for the price, I have not had issues with either, however I have only mounted red dots and not high power optics where issues might be more noticeable. We are actually going in the opposite direction with this property. The range as currently laid out is 400 yards from the shooting house location (materials onsite but yet to be built) to the target stands which consist of AR 500 plates and stands for paper. The range is graduated in 100 yards increments. We have about 25 acres in pasture now that will need to be maintained. I have a neighbor who cuts it for hay so I only worry about the shooting lane which is easily handled with the tractor and bush hog, and the area around the barn which is what the Murray is used for.
