Wow! Love the para-cord wrapped stock. I want to do that exact thing to my MAA aluminum stock. Any suggestions or tut's to pull that off properly? Great pics. Looks awesome.

Since no one has the MAA stock it seems, i'll give my 2 cents. I've had the stock on my Saiga for about 9 months now and love it. It's a purty product and I'm sure either choice would make the owner very happy. BUT, the MAA doesnt come predrilled for the QD slings that is actually a very nice touch for the DPH. Could someone correct me if i'm wrong, but does the Ace push-button folding mech come predrilled? Or is it the non-push button? Enjoy your soon to be sweeter Saiga

Howdy, I've had a Century Arms made FAL for about 8yrs now and absolutely love it. Now, i'm sure i'll catch shit on liking anything Century Arms has made, but i've had ZERO failures with it (maybe 7-800 hundred rounds through it) and it actually shoots pretty decent. It's a mixture (i believe) of inch and metric parts, has a proper stock and pistol grip (not crappy thumbhole thing), and it takes metric mags only. Howdy All, Quick question, just got my first Saiga, a 24" Saiga 12 and have used the search function but only find info mostly about the 19" version's. So, i looked inside the gas block and see only 2 ports, no partial or anything. Will i need to add any more ports to shoot the cheapo Walmart Winchester and Federal loads, or will the 24"er run fine. I DO plan on shortening it too 18.5" eventually, so i might as well add some additional ports. As an aside, many thanks to the owner(s) and posters of this site. If you look on the left-side (the side without the safety/charging handle) on almost every AK-type rifle, there is a rail that is riveted on the side that you can attach a mount onto. Rail on rifle: No rail on rifle: No biggie, just a minor difference. Cheers, -glock22c
