  1. Won't work on a MAK-90 I'm guessing. Looking to do this very thing, time to get shed of the Tapco T-6.
  2. Since picking up more hours at the range I don't get to poke around as much as I used to but I'm glad I asked. Good job thinking outside the bun. Being able to safely and reliably run 3" is a worthy cause, I think I'll work on one of mine following your lead. A vid would be nice when your battery is charged up.
  3. What is this Autoplug mod you speak of?
  4. Just in case you missed it in the "Funny" thread...something similar; http://www.snotr.com/video/10921
  5. I obtained one while they were available. This is all I need now. I need to get a good safe so the guns will have to wait a while.
  6. "Some of us have more time than $ ." <--- This. If this were not the case I'd just buy what I need. I'd like to get at least 1K or so shells done in reserve. I figure with the Lee pot I'll just open it up and pull the mold across rather than opening up at each spot and then closing til the next spot. Might have extra sprue this way but it won't go to waste. I'll be very interested in seeing GF's machine.
  7. They're all gone now (from Nokick.com at least) but some might be showing up on GunBroker.com for $500 each....
  8. Got one. It appears to be very well made, nothing loose, the two halves match up perfectly. I'll report back after I've made some shot.
  9. I'll volunteer for the testing program, looks like a real slick piece.
  10. Hey, Yes, doing well. getting to the range every week or 2. I look forward to shooting with you again soon. I want to see some of those home grown slugs :-) Still have some from the last casting, I'll hook you up. Also Saiga-12 v 2.0 is in hand, breaking it in...I'm at the range Tuesdays, Wednesdays most all the time now.
  11. Yes but there are skulls on the pistol grip, foregrip and magazine and it has a "tactical" sight....how cool is that? Unrelated...where you been Bob? Doin alright?
  12. Not a problem man, we all benefit from the info you share on this board. The SS is patented so I don't know if anyone else will ever be able to produce something similar without obtaining the patent. Given the reasons Enidine stopped producing it I doubt they'd ever allow anyone else to run with it.
  13. Any examples? I guess not. NoKick.com has gotten some of these in and these will most certainly be the last. The price has gone up $40 from the last one I got, don't know if pricing was higher from Enidine but it doesn't really matter. As I've said, I have used one of these on my first Saiga-12 and have never had cycling problems or gotten the slightest bit of soreness in my shoulder. I won't say it's the Shot Shock alone but I have no doubt it helps. It's your decision whether it's worth $169 or not. And yes, I bought one this time around.
  14. Speaking of Liberty safes a local seller here is supposed to be taking one in on trade in when the owner steps up to a bigger safe. I'm waiting for the call that it's in.
  15. Shock would be an understatement. I think if I live to be 100 years old I won't forget that day. Your mishap could have ended badly....good thing you were quick.
  16. I've got to weigh in on this one as it has to do with one of the most vivid memories I have from my childhood. Being naturally curious as most kids are I loved to take things apart. Often this ended up being "destructive testing" as there was no putting back together the subject of each experiment. This didn't really matter as the object most of the time was to simply see what was inside not reassemble. So I had this 10 ball roman candle....you can probably guess the rest but I'll fill in the blanks anyway. Sitting on my bed I cut the cardboard tube open with a razor blade and du
  17. The slugs performed well, as expected. At indoor range distances they are accurate but I need to do some testing outdoors.
  18. At first I didn't know what you were talking about, I had my sound turned off from the git go, didn't figure there would be anything I'd want to hear.
  19. Yeah they got some pretty stout light poles over there....well, except the one.
  20. Here's a compilation that's 100% FAIL. http://youtu.be/l_NNt5EwxjY
