Here is my group of new toys.Big Bro is my MKA 1919 with the Firebird aluminium lower with there FCG and stock.I have a custom drilled gas block from an AR15 for the front sight mount.And a custom paint job.Little Bro is my S&W with a Surefire muzzle brake.And Magpul furniture.With a EOtech red dot.Last but not least my Kimber 1911. -
I had a problem with my 10 rd mags not dropping out.It ended up being the mag release not set correctly.Now the 5 and 10 rd just pop right out.

What do you do about the serial number?I wouldn't want my serial number just wondering around.

There is no serial number on the new lower.The upper is the registered part.At this point I dont know what I am going to do with the old lower.It has a serial number -
I just finished up putting the gut in the new lower.I am just waiting on the new detent for the safety.Then its rock and roll time at the range.

Send it to Firebird Percision.If you have the money.Get the aluminum lower with there FCG.

I have a XN model.It had problems like FTF and FTE.The only way I could get rid of the problem was to do upgrades the FCG.I sent my lower to Firebird and with there FCG the gun runs perfect.The hammer and hammer spring suck.Plus it will help you make your gun closer to being 922r compliant.I shot 150 rounds of 1200 fps walmart rounds. No problems.
