  1. Don`t seem to be any answers to this, is it safe or not safe ?
  2. Steve, off topic question, what scope have you got on yours ?
  3. Talk of best type of cartridge for breaking/running in the 1919, what combination do people think is best. MV/FPS Speed ( range from to ?) Powder grms ? Shot/lead size ? Is it better to have a high MV/FPS and large Shot size than a high grms ? for example... (i.e. 1450 fps, No.7.5 Shot, 27grms....or 1350 pfs No.4 Shot, 32grms ). I read somewhere ?, its better to have a heavy lead load to compress the gases to work the gas system. What is considered a "heavy lead" load ?

Do you have the T&N rod and have to remove it now ?Do you use a wrench/spanner ? Do you use a "C" spanner for the buffer tube as well ?

Steve I guess you mean cut off the ears on the alignment plate so you don`t have to remove the operating rod and use the RDS to hold bridge it, then you don`t remove the rod to disassemble bolt.

Did you Loctite in your split pins one end ?
  8. Your turn to suckle now, what goes around comes around.
  9. Insert suckling sounds here Slurp, Slurp,Slurp !!! , at least he offered advice first.
  10. Well done Matt, this is just what I was looking for, especially the stock part about not being able to change it to aftermarket. The best bit looks like the feed ramp.
  11. Fumes, you even PAINT bro? Fumes,..huh? So that explains where all these “original ideas” come from. I can’t wait to see what’s who’s next. Looks like you’re out to make quite a name for yourself in the 3-gun community! Be sure to get your application in early for Ironman, I’m sure Mike and Travis would love to have you. (they’re the timid little fellas in pink bunny suits that like having their whiskers rubbed in it) Btw,..no, I don’t paint and I ain’t your bro! TUT TUT ! By the way, from your avatar I see you have an extra large mag, can`t you hit the target
  12. I guess I`ll have to try a lot of these easy fixes to start with but try and work towards getting a more permanent fix like Cad-man`s
  13. Thanks man, if so I will let you know
  14. Where are you located? Ummmm...England
  15. Cad-man That is an excellent job, the photo`s and run down are great also, pity I don`t have access to the mill/drill equipt.
  16. Does this new guide rod also solve the gas ring locking nut loosening as well ?
  17. Steve Have you got a pic/description of the Locktite bottle, does it unscrew ok, is it in both areas ?. And the grub screw, is there one in both the forend and gas ring lock nut ?
  18. Anyone got any ideas for stopping the forend nut loosening during firing and also the Gas ring locking nut loosens as well.

I know its not called an AKDAL MKA1919 but its in the same mould. Anyone got any pics of how the bolt is removed and how the feed ramp folds down, also what is the ramp made of, is it changeable if damaged >
  20. Steve Its not a matter of where I am, France UK, Germany...its a matter of having an email contact site and no customer support that annoys me. If they cant reply why should I give them my money. What happens if I have problems with their product ?.. and I don't always want to "pick up the phone"
  21. I`m a new member here and have been reading this with a lot of thought and worry. I also have been trying to get some reply to emails sent to Firebird and must agree they are NOT very good at replying, in fact I will say they are pushing me towards other companies that are Excellent at replies. They may not be able to supply me with what I need so decided it wasn`t worth answering. If that's the reason you will lose out in the long run. My question was simple "Do you ship internationally, i.e, outside the USA ?" for small parts.
