  1. The stock plug, tromix plug, and the KA plug that was out, were not made with saw teeth in the sides designed to cut through material. Just a thought. Most of us only have one gas block per gun and not many spare gas blocks out there for sale. I bought some King Armory plugs for mine when they were available, wish I had bought more. Ive never had an issue. I don't think that its just carbon its light brown and I scrapped it with a pick and it didn't come off. It works just fine I was just wondering if it was common. It did sit for at least a couple months full of powder res
  2. I have one of these wood handguards and can not get it on past the gas tube. I do not want to chance cracking it getting it on. Did you have to mill the sides thinner to get it on?
  3. Most likely, the steel shavings from the inside of your gas block are rusting. I don't think that its just carbon its light brown and I scrapped it with a pick and it didn't come off. It works just fine I was just wondering if it was common. It did sit for at least a couple months full of powder residue from me testing my 15 round mags.
  4. contact me if you decide to sel your stock, Thank you, macgyverhk t
  5. Does anyone know where to get this choke terminal. I saw one sell on gunbroker recently for $99.00 The top one is the Saiga 12 Choke Adapter for Rem Choke Tubes the second is the original Russian 6-slot, 12-port flash hider design.
  6. Where does someone buy the one in the picture?
  7. very nice and true to the ak spirit, simple and effective
  8. I would love to see that Tony... For me I do not think it would be merely cosmetic since my shorty, 8", saiga 12's gas piston/bolt carrier hits the top cover everytime it cycles. I think it would be a good safety feature and useful in building up an internal guide for the bolt carrier. Just my thoughts.
  9. Wow Ray that Saige Krink is the best I have ever seen (period). But for the average joe like me I think a Cobra rail, some hk sights, and the following will work out best... Unless someone can make my saiga or my remington look like this... But as I doubt that, I will stick to the simplest and most effective solutions first.
  10. Can you produce something like this for market?
  11. Thanks Cobra: that is exactly it!!!!! When are you going to make one?

  13. I believe a hinged top-cover for the Saiga-12 is one of the most highly sought after products yet to hit the market. I have been looking for a simple weld on kit that utilizes the saiga-12 rear sight dove-tail and would not require modification to the rear sight block. I have once seen a picture of a russian design that accomplishes just that, but did not save the picture. It was a very simple design that extended a hinge just above the front of the dust cover and extended from the s-12 rear dove-tail. A small metal tab was welded onto to the top-cover to put the pin through. This desig
  14. I love my MD drum and my agp mags - but would gladly switch over to the side tabbed mags, mag well, and a quick drop design. Will I be able to convert my agp mags to the side tab magwell? If not, goodbye agps, hello chaos.
  15. Go to the CGW banner at the top of this webpage, or send an email or PM to VanKiller or BVamp on this board. Easy! Thank you
  16. How do I get in touch with Tom Cole and would he sell me one? Been looking for a while also. Thanks
  17. Check it out... new Saiga-12 safety selectors Matching Cup holder coming soon...
  18. Do you think that my vault full of S12 from the 90's to now with over 10 versions would suffice? I am pass the beta stage, and have over 200 different S12 to drop these pucks into. Now please get back to your own business. Aloha Was just making a suggestion, had you put the little fucking detail about the "vault" full of Saigas and whatnot in any one of your posts then it would have been explanatory. However, your posts pretty much said "prototypes", "testing now", "selling next week", and "designed in 3 hours", smacking of something that might be being slightly rushed to ma
  19. We were going to make a Shorty version but, at this point I just don't fill the market place needs two companies making these for a very limited market. If we could sale 500 pre-orders I would make these for $100.00 ea. but I doubt this would happen. Well you got one here Put me down for one. Possibly two.
  20. I bought a King Armory Puck to correct a gas problem I was having with a pos saiga build of mine. KA's puck works great and seriously has helped. I feel I made the right choice. When their puck came out I thought it was quite inovativel. Funny this new one looks like they took a King Armory Puck and milled some funny looking flutes in it. I am not sure my saiga would have worked better with this one. Seems it gives up the advantages for which King Armory orgininally disigned it to solve. Just my thoughts.
