  1. Will they be magwell compatible?
  2. Has it been done? Lets see some pictures if you have done it.
  3. FYI: Connecticut is presently deliberating on banning all magazines over 10 rds by July 2011 from entering their state. How the bill is presently written CT is also looking to make all mags over 10rds a fellony to posses requireing a turn in or sell off of all unauthorized magazines. Mike get your mags to market so CT residents can buy before the ban so hopefully they will be grandfathered in. Thats if the bill is rewritten to allow a grandfather clause.
  4. What's that first rifle? I can't seem to find it on the SGWorks site. Linkage would be greatly appreciated. The first gun is a Micro Galil. It is custom built and is not an SGWorks gun. It is in the picture to demonstrate the diminutive size of the SGWorks kit.
  5. I imagine it is great for bugs. My thought is... if it is going to look similar to the Starship Troopers gun then make it exactly like the Starship Troopers gun. In the very least it would make for a functioning movie prop.
  6. No more kick than plastic. It's definitely lighter than having all the quad rails and tactical doo-dads all over your shotgun. +1 Certainly though, the S12 lends itself perfectly to the Tactical dress. There are many people here that desire and embrace that look. I like both looks so I bought another Saiga.
  7. Russian Handguard and American built BWK-90 Bishop thumbhole stock on Krebs S-12. The wood and grain look like they came off the same tree and were stained in the same batch.
  8. The Thumbhole stock is off of a Norinco BWK-92 it was well made in America by Bishop. It is very solid and matches the Russian handguard's finish exactly. Despite the match, I will be stripping them shortly for restaining in Russian Red. Thanks for looking.
  9. LMFAO. Now that's a combination of words that calls for an encore.
  10. Oh yeah... I got wood.
  11. Recently I came across some pictures of a s-12 stock handguard that had been vented via drilling several well placed holes all over it. Most of the holes were placed in the rear of the handguard. The builder did a fine job and it came out looking very nice. I have since lost the pictures and am looking for some other examples of customized stock handguards that go beyond the standard 6 or so slots milled in the side.
  12. I watched it for the first time yesturday. Wish it would be pulled from the air immediately. It is neigther a good representation of the gun community or of responsible gun usage. Just you wait till the librals start watching and taking notes. Thank you very little Discovery Channel.
  13. Looks like it was made from Legos. IMHO I don't want this Lego Land S-12 Bullpup but I am still open to the concept of a S-12 bullpup that would remain a weapon rather than a movie prop. I believe someone will create one someday that will wow us. SGWORKS just wowed the SKS community with their bullpup, perhaps they can take a look at the Kalishnakov platform next.
  14. Because this guy has a long history of screwing over his customers and/or poor business practices. Do your research on this site. Or lets just open a new thread asking everyone that has had problems with E-Tac - Estaban - GoGun - Jammer... to tell their stories. Hopefully the records of his dealings and the members' past complaints have have not been cleaned up by the administrators, as Etac - Jammer - Gogun ... is a vender here. What ever business name he is using, there remains plenty other venders here now that produce quality parts and have the customer service to back them up. I
  15. To quote the movie Tommy Boy: Question: But why do they put a guarantee on the box? Answer: Because they know all they sold ya was a guaranteed piece of [crap]. That's all it is, isn't it? Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. I've got spare time. But for now, for your customer's sake, for your daughter's sake, ya might wanna think about buying a quality product from someone else. Tommy Boy Guarantee.Wav
  16. Cameron, Don't give up on the magwell idea. I want two. But you mags do need a provision for a last round bolt hold open or will have to go russian when they become available. Also, I sincerely hope once you perfect your magwell, you will be making drums/mini drums available for it as well.
  17. Oh here we go again... Man, this blog just never goes away. You Think people would learn to stay clear of him and his products. People... there are many local builders who can work on Saiga's, they are AKs after all. You should not have to beg and deal to get your gun back or what you paid for. Go local first, so if the builder tries to screw you over you can show up to his shop with the police and get your gun back. The guy lives on an Island. Live and Learn
  18. Tony has a great point and with the tab a last round bolt hold open would be quite simple to design.
  19. NEW OPERATING ROD IDEA... STAYS CLEANER Only a joke people... new operating rod does not actually exist... it is just a pic of a different type of milling bit. But if you want to see if it would work, all the power to you.
  20. I love the various choices now available but am still waiting for a drop free mag fed drum. 10-12 rounds
