  1. When will you be testing these? What will be the price? When will you start taking Orders? How do I get in line? Any chance at a pre book? Thank You ...
  2. Still available? I'm interested. Sent a PM Let me know Than you ...
  3. Any Updates .375/.410? Also have you ever considered Ruger's .375? http://www.shootingtimes.com/ammunition/ruger375_080807/ http://www.sportsafield.com/FAQ/images/375comp-1sized.jpg http://www.sportsafield.com/FAQ/375Ruger.htm
  4. Do you know what model? (12, 20, .410?)
  5. Has anyone ever done double stack mags for the S-12, 20 or .410? If not, could it be done & would anyone besides me want them?
  6. From your experiance, Can we expect a significant amount of recoil reduction & decrease in muzzle rise with these brakes?
  7. Although we haven't tried this, I would say it should work very well acoustically. Not sure how it would affect patterning. When might you be testing this ? If this worked I'm defiantly up for it! Then I could have one suppressor for all my Saiga Shotguns !!! Any more news on the Suppressor for the 12 with an adaptor for the 410?
  8. Actually I agree with everyone so far. I think a .308 with a well placed shot would do the trick on just about any animal. My worries aren't Grizzlies, rather Black Bears found in my neck of the woods. For the surprise encounter where a calm well placed shot might not happen, I just want the most power I can get out of my .308 without any safety issues. By the way has anyone had any sucess in their 308's with: Extreme Shock's New .308 Big-Game Hunting Round http://www.extremeshockusa.com/cgistore/st...id=5650634.7024 I did the math and I'm thinking this one might be too hot as well. 9. Who what now? ... and here I was laboring under the misconception that the .308 was already an excellent choice in hunting ammunition for just about any critter on the continent..
  10. I'm agreeing with all the comments here that these loads are outside the stock specs. However, I'm thinking it could work with basic & easy internal conversion parts. Most conversions replace these parts any way. So why not upgrade with; Stiffer Springs Heavy duty Recoil buffers Heaver more durable piston Reinforced Gas tube with a regulator for regular or light loads. Create the "Saiga .308 Magnum" I kinda like the sound of that. Seriously I'm curious, how much beefier are the model 100 Components, internals & parts, Compared to that of the IZ-137 so it can han
  11. I on the other hand reload my own ammo and pushed to limits of the .308 quite a bit and without appreciable wear, danger or problems. You will have to work pretty hard to hurt your Saiga. What do ya think of this stuff? https://www.hornady.com/shop/Ammo_LMHM_popup.htm 165gr. with a muzzle velocity of 2880 at 3038 lbs. Are your reloads anywhere near these numbers? Can the S-308 take it?
  12. What is the Most Powerful Ammo the .308 can handle ... Safely?
  13. I know, I read that also. I was thinking that Saiga's were not your average Semi Automatic. For example, I've heard that the Saiga .223 can handle 5.56 Ammo. With that in mind can't a stock Saiga handle more pressure and abuse than most Semi Auto 308's Or Could it be made to handle it by installing Recoil Buffers and/or gas port modifications etc.?
  14. Doing some research I came across this ammo by Hornady. https://www.hornady.com/shop/Ammo_LMHM_popup.htm Its a .308 Light Magnum Ammo that by the numbers outperforms regular 30-06 hunting ammo by Fusion But my question is ... "can it be used safely in a stock Saiga .308?" or Would it require Recoil Buffers and/or gas port modifications etc.? If it could be made to work, it would effectively turn your .308 into a 30-06 alternative. Thus, making for a great mountain & camping, maybe even a hunting rifle. Plus, I think it would be a lot easier than trying to convert a Model 100.
  15. Stanley's Pro Shop I paid $249.99 + $12.99 Shipped ! Nicest people, incredible customer service, Fast Shipping! http://www.stanleysproshop.com/Saiga_223_R...036;FAG$C1 Stanley's Pro Shop is what All Internet Shopping Should be !!!
  16. This is exactly what I was worried about. New Saiga's are like a box of chocolates, you just never know what your gona get. Either way, from what I've read your Ver-21 could become pretty rare ... so don't be too bummed. Do you have any Pic's? I'm curios to see the receiver looks like without the stock.
  17. Will Tromix Parts fit The New Version 21 .308 ? http://www.raacfirearms.com/Saiga_308v21.htm Without reciever mods, could you attatch Tromix Grips, stocks, etc.
  18. Thanks Tony Any idea for ETA on the 410 Trigger Guard?
  19. I thought this would be a great idea! Even for the stock 18 inch barrels. (required in WA state) Especially if you heading out to do some Trap, Skeet or Sporting Clays. Also, you could thread the ends of these so you could even add an extra choke. If it would work, I would definitely be in the market.
  20. Any plans for the .410 & S-20 ?
  21. Shurefire ... That's what I was thinking But, why are there no photos on their site? Does any one have any photo's of these mystery mags?
  22. I still think he should start his own Firearm Mfg. Sub contract for US receivers, bolts & Barrells Train & liscence addl. talented craftsmen under his supervision & QC. Theres a lot of talented folks out there. Tromix Firearms ... born & bread in the USA - It could be nice.
