  1. The Savage 110 BAS is chambered in .338 Lapau or .300 WIN MAG, looks just like the BAS-K, but MSRP $2,267.00

I've been looking also with no results, I'd like to know if the elevation will get up high enough for 400+ meters. I know the existing rear sights adjust but I like aperture sights, thanks for the review.

So aside from the difficulty of removing the receiver cover, are the sights stable? do you have a good sight picture?, have you shot with them yet? The sights look like they're solid but do they take recoil well?, are they part of the recoil spring assembly? I've got a set for my 10/22 and love them so just wondering about these. Did you get the 100 or 200.
  4. Nice rifle, I love mine. I like the recoil pad. I've had pretty good luck with the Hungarian silver tip light ball and wolf 148gr, and the Wolf Gold Match 150gr. You can also load or re-load your own or have someone with a press load for you, that way you can have consistency at fairly reasonable price. The scopes are actually good quality for the price, they take time to get used to but when you do you'll see quite an improvement in your shooting. There's some info on the web about range finding, using the windage chevrons to compensate for the scope offset at given distance etc. Also the po
  5. Mine knocks the hell out of coyotes...I'm pretty happy with the 6.8
  6. Seems like you'd have to keep track of every round fired and then either work the bolt after each tube was emptied, or there's a LRBHO that would be workable without too much effort. Better yet why not just fire from open bolt design.
  7. Like that douche bag says box magazines don't work that well, slugs are heavy.......
  8. That wire stock would feel so special, especially shooting the barricade round. I want one
  9. Looking for tech info on conversion to SBS, wanting to know about opening ports and such, can anyone point me in right direction. I'm sure this has been covered already and i see bits of info here and there but want more thorough instructions. I've already got the NFA process and legal stuff covered. Thanks
  10. Can the DIY trigger guard be used on the S410, or is the mag catch/release in the way?
  11. What or who's fire control parts are best for rebuild/NFA compliant, also would like to get an elevated front sight and ghost ring for rear if possible.
  12. where are the four ports at ? mine appears to only have two in a recess in the gas block chamber plus one larger that ports excess out to the rear of the plunger. Does the block have to be removed from the barrel to open the existing ports or are they opened by going thru opening of the chamber at an angle downward?
  13. Krebs ghost ring with the clamp on front post, the best money spent on accessories for my shotty yet. Cool!, Thanks for the info! Tony is tuning up my S-12 right now, I hope I can figure a way to mount the front sight after Tony mounts a AK style brake. May have to remove the barrel and slide it on from the breach. Sweet, Tony's probly got some kreb's sights in stock, have him do it or look's like his sights are pretty sharp. Taking the barrel off seems like a pain in the ass, plus I don't think that would work cause the front sight base is kind of compression fit, it slips ove
