Saw pics of groups open carrying long rifles in front of smiling cops. The libs however, weren't smiling. I think the protesters were taken back at the site of the opposing team being openly armed.

Makes you wonder why no cops carry a scoped bolt action. That way they can park at a safe distance when responding to a call and immediately set up a sniper/long range position. After that, one shot should fix the problem.

All of this is an excuse. An excuse to cut away from the Republican convention. An excuse to blame the Republicans and their ideals for all the problems people have. An excuse to push fourth their agendas and ideas. I'm willing to guarantee that the week of the Democratic National Convention nothing, and I mean nothing, will be serious enough to interrupt or cut away from that event.

CNN, MSNBC and Hillary commercials scare the hell out of me.

This is horrible, and I fear this is only going to get worse before the end of this year. People need to learn to let go of anger and start thinking rationally again. Way too much emotion folks. Guys, you all know it was a Bushmaster SKS made by Eugene Kalashnakov designed to kill 47 people in 15 seconds. It was even more lethal because he used Glock clips in it. We need to accept the media reports and stop the hate.

The SKS makes sense. Both my son and I were hearing the audio the night of the incident and the first thing he told me was "that's not an AR, the reset is too long". Also, I recall an eye witness that they interviewed say that the shooter was dropping ammo while trying to reload and again, that didn't make sense if it was an AR. However, there was another guy that they also interviewed that said it was an AR "clear as day". So in the end, a ton of folks in this country can't ID a firearm in a moment of stress and the media absolutely can't ID any rifle as anything other than an AR and any

I hate to say it, but I seriously think this is exactly what certain groups wanted to happen. The left lives and dies by crisis. They have both been filling and striking the powder keg from the very beginning. An excuse is needed to justify their actions, and this is exactly what they want. And if this doesn't do it, they will sit back and wait for another opportunity. Rinse, wash, repeat....
