  1. The only thing that will be exposed after the conversion is everything under the trigger guard plate (if you're careful and don't marr anything...) (I think). And possibly some of the rear of the reciever depending on which folder you use.
  2. New: Crank... the movie never slows down Growing up: Commando, something about a military surplus that stocks rocket launchers keeps it going, I made my mom rent this movie at LEAST twice a month when I was like 5-6 years old Old: Any of the James Bond movies, I really like from Russia with Love though, AR-7's ROCK! Foreign: Battle Royale, semi-cheesy, but a grim/humorous storyline
  3. Of course I'm happy it was just the tension, it's not like I'm trying to make it out to be a piece of crap, it just didn't work in my gun. I was just giving an honest, unbiased bit of information. And I'm sure with minor tweaking it would work. And other than tiny intolerances which I highly give Mike credit for making work on 5(?) of the 6(?) guns we had out there, the drum is everything everyone could hope for... even as a pre-production sample.
  4. I think the only 1911 I've ever heard anything bad about was those AMT Hardballers that were chrome plated. There was also something about the Smith and Wessons I recall hearing, but I'm sorta biased there because I'm not a S&W fan anyway... But you really can't go wrong with ANY (other) 1911.
  5. bayonet with bright green frog... or just the frog, PM please
  6. Actually he DID, on Saturday, hence the "when we were out there" part
  7. I reccommend Springfield. Mine has been an excellent shooter and they have lifetime warranty...
  8. Thanks for the offer, but responsibility is taking over and I'm gonna have to ease back on shooting a little bit since Eaton decided to send our plant to Messico... and I don't have a job anymore after the 18th I was curious about what had happened to the spring... you said it broke when we were out there, wondered how bad it was. No stress, thats what the pre-production tests were for right? And no prob... I'll let you know when I can afford some more ammo to go unleash hell on another couple boxes of clays, maybe I'll have enough brain to bring my thrower too and we can get 2-3 b
  9. no it didn't need to be raped of its newness.... you needed to clean your gun! My shoulder was pretty weird for the last couple of days also... it didn't turn too many colors but for the first time in my shooting life it lumped up... it was actually swollen. I roughly added up what I shot and it was close to 600rds. Between the S12 and the M-44 I probably should have expected worse.
  10. If I remember correctly the one in the video of Juggernaut and Dinzag was a FTE
  11. Must have been a 9. Ok, in all seriousness....that sucks.
  12. Well, looks like the 20 or so pictures I took with the wifes pretty pink camera weren't pictures... it was the camera focusing. The drum wouldn't fit in my Saiga right, that kinda sucked. We DID (I hope) get a video of Dinzag and Juggernaut doing a double drum dump... that will probably appear in the next couple days. Good to meet everyone there, and thanks for the good cooking Mrs. J.
  13. IT'S ON... IT'S ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!!!!!!!! I might be out closer towards 11:00, but I'll be there with a Saiga and drinks.
  14. I have a couple laying around I'll give you if you send a SASE... they are from an AK so they don't fit perfectly, but they work. PM if interested
  15. I've got a wasr-10 with the same issue, I've fired a few thousand through it with no problems feeding AT ALL. As far as I know "low cap" means that it has 2 little "spurs" on the back of the magwell which are easily grinded off to allow normal AK mags in.
  16. Was there a Time decided or figured out yet?
  17. Wow, I thought you were in Michigan there for a minute. I work with a guy who has the same mindset, and couldn't understand that the tradeoff is going to be something he can't afford.
  18. I had a guy at work make mine, 19* angle at the top, took him about an hour and he's pretty inexperienced.
  19. not religion... my stance on life, I'm converting to an anti-gunner... if I could only find someone to remove this damned tattoo:
  20. I'm in.... assuming my conversion is done by then.
  21. I live in Lapeer, would be glad to "help out" test firing an MD drum...
  22. From that pile of shells, I'm guessing there's a large percentage of retarted animals and dirty water in Mikes area.
  23. OK if it needs a refinish, would prefer it to be complete (sling loop, trapdoor parts, etc.). Also want a plain black (rear) grip.
