  5. Thanks Bohound!!!! Eveyone else let me go outside with my fly open. I paid more than that 08 lol. I guess 60 shipped then. I think I only ran one or two mags through but flawless.
  6. I have a used renegade buck mag adapter. Id like to get $60 shipped. Trade for galil, wieger, bulgy mags. I no longer have an ar so the mutual mag appeal is gone as well as all of my ar mags in the sale. I live in Michigan and could meet ftf within reason. Jim
  7. I'd like to put front and rear sights on my .223 my fsb is canted. Sounds like a good excuse right? Question is must they be tigged or can I just tack it down with my arc welder on low. Will the elevation from front to rear be ok (mounting the rear sight to the top of the rear cover and the front mounted to the gasblock) or are some spacers needed? Then I'd like to sleeve the barrel and thread on an a2 flash hider. I know I've seen this some where if someone has seen a pic of this I'd love to see it.
  8. need a m4 style stock for my .223

  9. I never new it got so cold in iraq.

  10. Very sweet! It lends tse;f we;; to suretire and fore-grip! Is that an ACOG or BARSKA scope. ACOG are way out of my price range, and I was wondering about the gaulity of the Barska. I am not an Optic snob. SOmetime inexpensive works VERY well. Nope it's just a cheapo scope nc star mark 3 gunshow special. I have an acog on my duty weapon but I don't own it and I think the taxpayers might frown on me bringing it home. I have a surefire but that just forward of the front grip is a green laser.
  11. Use a transfer puch to mark the center of the hole then use a small drill bit in a drill about half the size you want the hole to be then use a drill with the correct size bit , oil the bit with cutting oil and you will be fine I did the exact same thing 9 months ago. It is a PITA but you will not regret the work when its done. Also word to the wise save all of the old pieces . I chucked em and I regret it.
  12. Here is mine..still a work in progress AR adapter is next.
  13. Sorry, I missed It just found the thread...working too much. Great pics. Thanks for sharing. I'm in Ionia
  14. I'm ordering one from renegade buck I will let everyone know how it works.
  15. I tried to make the bullet guide with pipe and it causes the bolt to sieze and it it must be forced open. I now have a hole in the trunion. So I cant use the one from Danzig. I have a whole bunch of bulgy mags and would like to use them. Does the bullet guide from kvar work? as well as danzigs? Do you modify the mags the same way if you use it?
  16. I'm Gonna buy Dinzig's. Thanks he e mailed me last night. I PRAY i DON'T MESS IT UP. Also are you a bubble head cause I was too. Now in the Army National Guard. Woodrow wilson ssn-624(90-94) Seahorse ssn-669(94-96) Albuquerque-ssn-706(98-00)
  17. I am tryng to get regular ak-74 mags to fit in my saiga. I bought one mag cheap modified the mag per the numerous posts on the subject. and it does not work. I did not install a bullet guide and I'm sure thats my prob. But I was wondering is there any other way? Can I plastiweld a ramp on the front of the mag? Or mount a small guide to the outside of the mag. I'm only 10 dollars into this. Drilling my reciever seems really scary to me. Please help Combat Engineers lead the way or make a hole in it.
