  1. I bought 2 and they've worked fine. No trimming or modification required.
  2. I voted for the 20 because that's my next purchase. If I didn't already have a 12, I would choose that.
  3. So, it is a list of policies of one vendor and not actual state laws? I know that Illinois residents can purchase ammo from some vendors without a FFL, I received a shipment from MidwayUSA Tuesday of this week. They do require a copy of my FOID card.
  4. Save me digging out a ruler, what size?
  5. http://www.midwayusa.com/defaultb.aspx Wolf buckshot and slugs on sale. $2.50-$3.00/box of 5. I picked up a bunch of Brenneke KO slugs for $1.99/box at my local RuralKing store. I buy my birdshot at Wal-Mart. Federal or Remington bulk packs.
  6. Mine has cycled everything I've fed it on "1". Buckshot or Federal birdshot.
  7. Sabot slugs are designed to be fired through rifled barrels or rifled choke tubes. They need the rifling to stabilize the projectile. Might save money using foster type slugs or Brenneke slugs. KOs have worked the best for me and can be found for around $2.00/box of 5.
  8. After nearly a year of trying to get an 870 Express to function reliably (and failing), I sold it and bought a Saiga-12 shotgun. I'm totally new to this gun and have some questions. First of all, the end of my barrel is threaded on the outside with a nut on there. I assume this is to add accessories such as a muzzle brake. Am I correct on this or is there some other reason for this? Is it possible to get the barrel threaded for choke tubes? My plan is to use this gun mainly for home defense and plinking, might try a little hunting if I can get it threaded for appropriate chokes. Wh
