  1. There seems to be a shortage of factory chokes. Does anyone have one that can take a pic and post it? Id like to see what they look like.
  2. Those two are for factory threads. I might have some more by the middle of this week. Your talking about my die and guide not a tap. A tap makes internal threads and a die makes external threads.
  3. Dodge I had one timing nut left so I will ship tomorrow. These are fresh out of the over.
  4. Assasin, Im doing one for you too. Im low on stock for the timing nuts so theres a chance I wont be able to make them until tomorrow dodge. I'll let you know later tonight when I post the pics. I hate making those timing nuts especially the ones for factory threads. I wonder if I should do away with them and just mill slots all the way around.
  5. I'll post some pics of dodges plain jane model tonight. Im going to go ahead and coat it semi gloss black dodge. It matches the factory colot pretty well.
  6. An ace folder like I have with bolt right up unless you get the newer style reciever adapter in which you have to cut the stock tang off for it to fit in. http://www.aceltdusa.com/ak.htm
  7. mIne measured around .881-.883 as there was some slight taper. You cant make it smaller with a hammer and still keep roundness. It will get smaller one way but longer in teh other(eggshaped).
  8. Its a die not a tap. Taps are for making internal threads. It is $20 shipped to you.
  9. I havnt even started on it yet. You have faith in me dodge dont you?
  10. No serrations, no lines, no paint will do for $50. I could go cheaper if I didnt have to chase those bastard threads inside.
  11. Yes the die and guide is for non threaded barrels. There are a handful of guys that have threaded their own.
  12. The point is the people who keep the site up are offering to accept donations to kelp with the upkeep. Im not IT guy but Id imagine these sites cost money and time to keep up. From the post the smallest donation I see is $5. $5 seems to be minuscule to the ammount of info one can obtain here. I will happily make a donation by the end of the month.
  13. I think there are 8 set screws if Im not mistaken. You could easily fill them in and repaint though if your going to silver solder on.
  14. I have one flashhider that will screw right onto to your factory threaded barrel and one that is made for barrels without threads. It is made so you can thread your own barrel to 7/8-28 thread size. I have a die guide that is available for rent making it pretty easy to thread your own using a vice or similar holding fixture. Here are what they look like. Timing nuts are included so that you can time the closed end towards the bottom. Here are some pics of the die and guide. Id preferebly like to deal with someone who has a spare 8 rounder to trade with but will s
  15. Iam a big bullpup fan too. I cant wait till the F2000 becomes available. Heres a pic of my M17.
  16. I wonder how it will hold during a couple 5 round slug mag dumps? Theres nothing wrong with plastic as long as it is suited to meet the requirements of the application.
  17. Thats great to hear caspian. Let me know if you need molds made.
  18. Those arent bad for the money. I think 8 set screws is a little extreme but to each his own :-)~ starlynx, my email is johnnymceldoo@yahoo.com
  19. What are you goingto be repainting it with? It looks great from here.
  20. ROFL!!! I cant say if it will hurt cycling since the barrels been ported but I would doubt it. But yes all versions are $70 shipped including the one that fits the factory saiga 12 threads. If for some reason it didnt function right when it cycled you could just return it for a refund.
  21. Im not sure if it would work or not. Id have to know thread size and pitch of the internal threads to take an educated guess. The 28 thread pitch I use is only about .036 deep so it doesnt affect the barrels integrity very much. Why would the set screw model interfere with the bayo lug? All versions are the same OD. No one thought my Cheppelle Show quote was funny? Tough crowd! :-)~
