TEXASAK73 13
A Vepr that takes M14 mags.I'm getting one very soon.I got a good deal on a Vepr .308 Krebs conversion to M14 mags.I think it is a steal at just under $800.00 shipped with 2 GI mags and one aftermarket 30 rd mag.Nana Nana Nana! I still love my Saiga .308 with 8 rd mag and I still plan on converting it over to pure evilness, but the 8 rd mag suits me just fine. We don't need no stinking hi-cap magez! dinzag 31
Here TGH - this will get you by until TEXASAK73 posts his... FAL mag modded to fit the VEP - no mods to the gun. I've only run about 75 rounds through it, but it works great so far. Good steel on this mag - pretty rigid. I'd like to do an M14 mag next to compare. Had to re-work the catches & relieve the front sides for the trunnion rivets. Mods to the gun include RPK battle scarred & refinished furniture set, some long-ass brake thingy, lower HG retainer & G2 FCG. Originally it had a thumbhole stock and wooden lower HG. Cobra 76 two 2,677
That's fuckin SWEET dinzag! Don't you worry, that Vep furniture will find a new home whenever I can score a kickass deal on a S -.308 to Drag out! Maybe by that time the mag problem will be solved. Hey what's that little tab for? A LRBHO?
IndyArms 10,186
I think that little tab, and its brother, further back, opposite side are just for shell alignment/retention. A LRBHO would have the tab at the rear... like on my PSL mags... but I may be wrong...
dinzag 31
As far as I can tell they either help stabilize the follower or the ammo. The follower is pretty shallow and both tabs contact the ammo when they feed in. I dunno.
TheGunHustler 3
thanks dinzag that helps wih the mag question

However, TGH had enough of the waiting game and went and bought himself one. I had to appease him before he went nuts and got another. (just trying to help a brother out ) Anyway, thanks! HEAFHUNTER1976 0
New here, first post. Just want to say way to go on the VEPR, and where can I get one that uses M1A mags? I have an M1A in a SAGE, and a VEPR .308 with the same mags would make it a nice companion.
BIGSKYBRY 0
I have a Saiga 308 for sale. It has the factory 8 round mag, tasco 3-9 x 50 scope, belarus side mount scope and a aftermarket bipod attached to the barrel. Unfortunatley I need the money for other projects. First $465.00 plus shipping takes it. It does have about 300 rounds throught it and some scrathces on the barrell, butstock, etc. I bought the gun brand new, the gun shoots just fine, just have to liquidate assets. no digital camera for pictures. please email me at BIGSKY@BRESNAN.NET for further info. : sorry about the wrong email address.
