Just stumbled upon this site/forum. Glad I did too.

I have been looking for something just like this since I became a proud Saiga owner.

I have three Tromix converted Saigas in my collection so far, a .223, a 12 ga and a .410 bore.

I take the shotguns to the skeet field once in a while. Turns heads.

Its hard to break the little buggers with the .410 too but I am getting better.

 

A little about me, I have been collecting firearms since I was 12 yrs old(with the help of my Dad of course)

I have quite a few, a lot of AKs of various makes and designs and always wanted a Saiga or two to round them out.

Thanks to PvtPyle, that has happened. If I didn't live in IL, the 12 would be an SBS but they aren't allowed here.

 

I am a disabled/retired DL examiner. I was injured while administering the test and haven't been able to work since.

Before anyone asks, she got an incomplete. The accident wasn't here fault. Someone ran a stop sign and t-boned us.

Its OK though, they have been good to me, after I sued the crap outta them and I do OK. Wish I could work though.

Gets boring sometimes. I always thought it would be cool to not work but now I wish I had my back healthy and was working again.

 

Enough of that though. I am really looking forward to finding out as much as I can about these arms.

you will notice that this forum is NOT like the other gun forums out there. here we say fuck shit piss cunt facist you name it, and often to each other basically, the standing rule is no excessive porn posting, and no racist b.s. allowed. other than that? the sky is the limit. be sure to speak you mind, as that is exactly what our rights are all about, and why we all even have a gun in the first place. for the record, dont feel so bad about not being able to own a saiga sbs 12. Im in the facist liberal state of NY, and here I cant even put a fuckin pistol grip on my saiga12, regardless of US parts count. oh well, I have one at least, and it still turns heads. the normal reaction to my s12 here is akin to people looking at me like I have two heads. its worth it for that alone. ...nevermind all the knowitall "experts" that claim there is no such thing as a factory AKM in 12gauge.

+1. Spent about a year with my ass in a sling (literally) a while back. Was touch and go whether I'd get back to work. The prospect of never working again gets stale pretty quick. However, collecting AKs seems like a most fulfilling way to pass the time.
