Eric Ravak 0
I need to be able to use Hi Capacity magazines in my Saiga .223 if I buy one. Can I use a type of mag. w/out modification, or what? I just want to know the best way to use Hi Cap. mags in these. I'm sorry if this is a question asked a lot, but I don't have much time to look around on here for myself. Thanks. Edited February 16, 2007 by Acer_Acies
Oswald2001 0
IMHO, forget Saiga factory mags. Sell them. Lose them. Given them away. Burn them. Throw them into the trash heap. Mail them to Uganda. Drop them and run away. Buy Dinzag's bullet guide and buy a whole bunch of .223 Galil Orlite mags from CDNN. Dinzag is a board member here. Here is the link for CDNN: http://www.cdnninvestments.com/22335orimisy.html BTW, the demand for Galil mags is going through the roof and the Democrats have taken over Congress. Buy as many Galil mags as you think you will need for the rest of your life. Edited February 16, 2007 by Oswald2001

sled_999 0
dinzag, did you use your clamp on handguard retainer on that build? or, did you press it on?
Cobra 76 two 2,677
They cost more but I like the Bulgarian waffle mags. You can even get them in clear (smoke color), I've got some for sale btw that are already modded for Saiga. Here's how you mod them...

I know the guy that makes those clamp-on retainer thingys. I don't trust him - I went with pressing the FSB & GB.

You are something Dinzag Dinzag made the non gun smith retainer clamps for what I have hear and see they work like a charm, but knowing dinzag and he have become good at what he does, he press the GB and FSB to install a original looking retainer for the hand guard, pride on his work and he knows what he is doing, hey is the least I will expect from him, I mean reall good looking fire arms fully work horses and really good finishes, in few the man know his stuff and does really good work on his personal guns and gun parts that he as for sale, plus I can testifide for his custome parts, really made quality and a great prices, you send him your especs and he made the part like you want it to the T. Dont throw away the 10 rounder though, just grind/file/mill out the feed ramp until it looks like Cobras Bulgy pics. The 10s are great for benchrest shooting.

vjor 2
Ops, Hey I have try both the bulgarian and orlite, like both but I dont know I use the orlites more and more than the bulgarians, they are 35 rounder, usually pack 30 rounds on them someting I will say, even with the use ones that spring on the orlites is strong as hell at list on my mags and for wable and stuff, I havent have any problems at all, is you fit the mag to the mag well as you file the sides, you can make them thingth as hell on the mags well, at list my the last ones I did they are just peachy on the gun and after at list 300 rounds true them no problemos feeding at all, ranck that bolt back and let go there goes the bullet on chamber and there you go every time I pull the trigger there goes another pill out the barrel and another fresh round on the chamber, at list on my gun.
