Dman 0
I have had my 308 for some months now and ran about 100 rnds through it with much enjoyment. I want to add a blackjack recoil buffer but it has a small piece of metal hinged on the area that the buffer would sit and I am concerned about it because my 20" and 223 don't have it on them. Has anyone seen the same thing and what needs to happen to make a recoil buffer work on it?
Blackjack 1
My buffers will work fine on the Saiga .308, just slide it up aginst that metal tab. I believe that tab is a spacer to keep the boltcarrier from going back too far and popping out of the rails.
txn 0
Cool, I just installed mine last night. The bolt seems to hand cycle just fine. I can't wait to try it out. Does it matter in this rifle which way the buffer faces?
Blackjack 1
I don't think so.
gunslinger308 0
is blackjack the only way to go or is the other one any good?
BattleRifleG3 16
Blackjack kicks the other buffers' arse. The other buffers cost more and don't work as well.
TWGLADF 0
hate to go against the grain here, but i've had way better luck with the buffertech "type" buffers. i've had 3 different bjb buffers and they all split in half after only about 200 rounds. the buffertech "type" buffers i've used have all cycled well over 3000 rounds each and they still look new. never had a ftf or fte with them in my mak90, saiga 12, and saiga 20. not to mention bump firing is easier with a thicker buffer due to the shorter stroke of the bolt carrier. gunslinger308 0
me thinks I need another saiga 308 to try the buffertech one on!

Blackjack 1
i've had 3 different bjb buffers and they all split in half after only about 200 rounds. I am sorry that the buffers you got from me cracked, I've had to change the material composition a few times because of this very problem but the last formula I switched to seems to have eliminated the cracking. I do stand by them 100%, drop me an e-mail with your purchase info and I'll be glad to swap them out or give you a refund.
shadow 0
How well do they work? when you fire the saiga can you really feel a differance?
