Tokageko 8 Posted December 2, 2007 Report Share Posted December 2, 2007 I've taken measurements (years ago) and found that a 12 guage mag would be too much for an AR15 (though maybe not for an AR10 - didn't have one to measure), though a 20 guage could probably be done. Well, that is to say, you could probably fit a 20 guage mag into the lower. Getting the cartridge into the barrel and locking the bolt might require going down to 16 guage... or using a bigger upper receiver. Personally, I want an MP5 styled weapon that's chambered for 12 guage 2" shells fed from a single stack stick magazine. That's me though. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
