SaigaMan7.62 0
SHHHHHHHHH!!! You will wake the Libreals. Then they ban the gun for sure. Lets hope that they think its an SKS.
topmaul 42
Was it a saiga or an SKS? or a mutt from some ones gun case
napoleon 0
After reading that report I have come to the conclusion that it was a saiga 7.62x39 that was used. In it's stock form it does look similar to an sks to an untrained eye. Sks have never been branded with the name Saiga (that I have ever heard of) so it leads me to believe that the rifle was a saiga that was misdescribed as an sks. Actually we should be thankful the mistake has taken place.
RooK 0
They look nothing alike, considering the SKS has a full, wood stock and an exposed bolt. Just idiots leading idiots in the media world once again.
Guest Guest
If you shoot me with a SKS or a M16 I don,t hate you any more than if you used a 22LR. Scum is scum.

Bvamp 604
I can see how someone would call it an SKS because of its layout. and because it says saiga on it, and there is no pistol grip and has the sporter stock on it, to someone who doesnt know about the saigas yet, (about noone i know here knew what a saiga was until i told them, and even then some people dont believe my saiga12 is an AK action until I strip it down and show them with thier own two eyes), I can see how it would be mistaken as a Saiga made sks, instead of a saiga made ak47 in a sporterised configuration. guest: i would be equally angry with any bullet fired at me, and if i were in the woods hunting and someone took a shot at me or my buddies, i wouldnt turn my back on the person. for SHIT sure would not turn my back on them, and i would for shit sure shoot back. brian33x51 1
Also a good reason why you should carry CCW if possible. Otherwise always carry open, especially during hunting season. Or keep a lever action handy, they're light and easy to carry. Only one gun amongst the lot of them?? Ugh.

Bvamp 604
I think they did have guns, and whoever rolled up and checked bodies was there to get the guns so that the unknown shooter couldnt use them on anyone else......just my take on it..
use2b 0
there was a lady who got ran over by a drunk driver in a ford yesterday. are they going to ban fords and alcohol or will personal responsibility fall into place at some later date? ether way the Chevy's are next! shadow 0
I find it hard to believe that they all didn't have guns on them. It makes the whole story sound a little fishy to me.
