Almost all my questions have already been asked and answered by others already. except this one.. charger SE 0
BATFE guy: "oh yeah? PROVE you made it in the US!"
BobAsh 582
you could always stamp "US" on it. That's what we do.
Azrial 1,091
BATFE guy: "oh yeah? PROVE you made it in the US!" Simple, just take a picture of yourself making it. It is no big deal.
buckandaquarterquarterstaff 5
Or better yet, make the BATF find another one just like it that is marked made somewhere other than the US. I make my own furniture and I'm sure as hell counting the 3 parts. THe only way they could find another one is if they hired me to make one. I don't mark mine, as I shouldn't have to. Maybe if I ever hear of someone being prosecuted for the parts count rules, then I'll wood burn a little US on it somewhere.
Jack A Sol 2
YOu are not counting US parts, you are counting "imported" parts. If it aint imported then it's good right? Some letter stamps and a hammer would quickly remove any doubt tho.
