Guess what I found? I was out of town visting my parents when I stopped at this grungy little pawn shop because I was told they had cheap ammo. They also had a couple of S12s for $428. I bought one and my brother bough the other. I figured I would be paying more than that when I finaly found one, so I am pretty excited. I can't wait to put some rounds through it. Once it has prove its self reliable and I am comfortable with it, I plan to have it be my primary HD gun.

In the last two months I have bought a S .223, a 7.62x39 and now the S12. Although I would like to get the .308 too, now I need to focus on coverting them, buying mags, and ammo.

Here is the trio. I've had the two carbines out for plinking and was happy with both of them. I have been trying to researh how I want to convert nd modify them. The 7.62x39 has dimples and the Y, so I don't know if I should do something special with it. This site has given me some good ideas and I envy some of the sweet saigas I have seen on here. I also am thankfull for all the good info I have found here. It inspired me to buy the above (and hopefully a .308 one day).
