philg80 1
I am not very computer savvy and need to ask a question. How do you reduce/shrink pictures to be able to get more pictures in a topic? Detailed explanation would help. Thanks, Phil
nalioth 405
This forum uses software that reduces the image to a size that fits the screen. You might try http://imageshack.us ( it is an online image hosting service that offers image size reduction ) For Windows, http://www.gimp.org may provide you a solution. If all else fails, you probably can email them to someone here for resizing. . . Edited July 22, 2008 by nalioth

acercanto 6
For simple image manipulation (resizing/cropping/color shifting/flipping/etc.), it's incredibly hard to beat Irfanview. Almost all operations have keyboard shortcuts. Want to turn the photo left, hit L. Want to resize, hit Ctrl+R. Some others are less intuitive, but very easy to internalize. I love it. Rave over, Acer
kresk 10,063
I'll second Infranview. Snarf it up free off the internet and it does a great job resizing pix.

Agias 0
Photobucket has a built-in editing program. Sure it's not photoshop, but it lets you resize. Also, even when you upload the pictures it allows you to choose one size for all of them at the same time.
FenderFreek 0
The easiest thing by far is the image resizer power toy from Microsoft, if resizing is all you need. You install it and it adds a little thing to your menu when you right click an image that says "resize pictures". you click it, pick a new standard size or a custom one, and it makes a larger/smaller copy of what you selected. It will even do whole batches with just a couple clicks. Image Resizer Powertoy
