  1. Hmmm, I smell a cottage industry of wire mesh embedded cell phone cases coming up.. Like the foil lined passport wallets. Acer
  2. Wow, this is sad. The tailor in me immediately said, "How cheesy, she didn't even bother hemming the edges!" She and the material are both ugly though... Acer
  3. I would imaging that bullet drop charts are calibrated by zeroing at 0 yards so that you're consistent across calibers or something... Acer
  4. I used automotive touchup paint. I got a tissue and rolled up a corner and dipped it in the paint and then touched it to the groove for the letter and let it wick out. I got impatient and just used the bush in the bottle on some letters, and as long as you wipe the extra away quickly (but lightly, so you don't pull it out of the letters) it doesn't stain the finish much at all. Hope that helps, Acer
  5. *Peeks out from under rock* Uhh, guys? Who's CNR? Acer
  6. Not sure if I agree 100% on all your tenets, but you've got a few good points. Hang in there, Acer
  7. I have a converted S-308, and can tell you with confidence that if you're just trying to get a better trigger pull, a true conversion is the easiest simplest way to get that. Sure you can rig it with a .223/x39 linkage pin set, but there's a reason you don't see normal guns with funky wishbone linkages and such. It adds friction and play exactly where you want neither. That's about all I've got to say, Acer Best of luck with whatever you end up doing.
  8. 1 is the trigger linkage (specific to the unconverted Saiga) and 2 is the disconnector. Acer
  9. http://www.dinzagarms.com/saiga_308/308fsb.html According to this, it seems like it'd be either .631" or .671" Acer
