jrance@iacwds.com 716
A bargain at $85,000.00 plus the cost of the vehicle. I'd figure $40,000.00 for a total of $125,000.00. Maybe we could go in together on one. 1911
Twinsen 86
Shouldn't they have started with a truck that isn't bloated? Ah, not for a government agency. It's for luxury. Edited January 15, 2009 by Twinsen
747mech 1
I've delivered some Land Cruisers and Suburbans to Bahrain for the State Department. They have a 3" sill on the inside of the door frame to protect against blast.
IndyArms 10,186
I watched some of the similar vids... and I was impressed to see that the .50 BMG AP will still punch through 2.5" of some kind of "bulletproof" glass...
Gothmog 24
My Barret put a AP 50 round through 1 1/4 inch plate steel at 600 yards, I dont think that there's any "glass" on the market that can withstand that kind of punishment. Now I just saw a item about an aluminum based clear glass that might, maybe stop 1, but I doubt 2 rounds down range on the same target. Thats alot of energy to disapate. scoutjoe 276
Thought the caltrops were a nice touch...
Ballistician 1
The caltrops are sweet. Depends where you are. In Iraq it's the bomb blasts and 7.62 fire you want to escape from. Knowing the durkas they'd shoot a 50 shoulder mounted and backwards. Then once it rips through an apartment building down the block they'll say, "Look what the Americans did!"
