sudaevpps43 31
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29953973/ Gun control activists say they are baffled by the sway the gun lobby has over Congress. They argue the NRA no longer dictates election outcomes and that the group inflates its own importance. Helmke said NRA's recent efforts to demonstrate its clout are partly "a sign of desperation. They realize this is probably their last gasp in terms of trying to be the force that they used to be." Interesting, this is just what Bradyites and all the other groups who opposed self-defense rights said back in early 1996, just before the Democratic Party got its ass handed to it during the congressional elections that year. This time around the Democrats seemed to have wised up to reality, while the Bradyites and their ilk are still living in their own little make-believe world. But then again the Bradyites can afford to, since they don't have any congressional offices of their own to get voted out of. If the Bradyites and the rest who oppose self-defense rights want to see "a sign of desperation", then all they need to do is listen to their own drivel.
Azrial 1,091
The Gun control people refuse to get it through their heads, they are the minority. That will not keep them from trying to impose their will on the rest of us!
Twinsen 86
So they admit that America believes in gun rights, yet they write three pages of shit about how they want to do it anyway.
Bounce12 407
Here's another gem: Gun rights groups are also increasingly worried that an outbreak in violence at the U.S.-Mexico border could pave the way for a raft of new gun control measures. If violence is breaking out, why would our merciful government disarm us so we can't defend ourselves? LOL This is Twilight Zone shit.

Who wants to deal with people that can defend themselves? They will not need the government to save them...

sudaevpps43 31
Need to try harder, douche bag Kerry is in Texas crying for a ban on AK imports among others, right now. Unfortunately opponents of self-defense rights like Kerry have, in a way, already succeeded in banning AK imports, since Kalashnikov pattern self-loading rifles can't be imported in their normal configuration anymore, and instead have to be cosmetically adjusted to look politically correct and modified to only accept under-capacity magazines before they can be imported. Sure they can be converted back to their original proper configuration once they get here, and domestically produced rifles like the AR-15 don't even come under these idiotic rules, all of which proves just how stupid and pointless the 'sporting purposes' import rules are, but that such pointless and useless rules are able to exist shows how much self-defense rights have been compromised in this country, and that we still have a long way to go in restoring them.
