I was going to start it yesterday, but I misplaced the 4 retaining pins for the gas block and FSB. I had to make another order to K-Var which will take a few days. Some day it will happen. chickenthrower 0 Posted October 19, 2006 Report Share Posted October 19, 2006 just finished mine is true WECSOG style, but its done. all Tapco furniture and fire control and even US mags. mag release lever filed to accept standard AK mags, and i'm down to 9 import parts without US mags, 6 with. I have a gas piston but by the time i was done breaking drill bits and 6 months worth of cursing i didn't feel like it and i didnt' need to. i would never do this again, but here it is: I also added a little white rubber bumpstop at the end of the receiver to absorb some recoil. i havn't even shot it yet.
