He served on the Lexington and Gothenburg Police forces until 1966 when he retired, after being injured in the line of duty. Albert Lind, 93 died.He and his brothers walked over the hills to a rural school,and after completing eighth grade, he went to work for his uncle and numerous other ranchers. He worked at Jackamar Flats during World War II, and was given a farm deferment. Just two of the 4 headlines in my home paper obits. Don't know Corey Haim. Heck, I don't know these guys, either. But I bet these guys impacted my life in many ways, through others that Cory dude could only dream of. Time to turn off the tv, and pay attention to those around you.
