Painting factory HGs?

Recommended Posts

I know someone posted something once about how to get rid of that chalky look after sanding the factory HGs or stocks. I couldn't find it doing a search. Any ideas? I thought about maybe using some of that Krylon fusion paint but last time I used I was not impressed. It would be nice if I could just get rid of the chalky look and leave the plastic bare.

I second the DYE thing. Alot of modeler's use it supposedly well.

My fusion paint experiance left a gloss even though it was satin..

I have since thrown out the parts..007.gif Satin River Rock #2423 matched my Dark Earth pretty good.

If you can find a FLAT version of SLATE BLACK or FLAT BLACK that may work.

Glad to see you on here. 027.gif
