Questions about side mounts for scopes on Saigas

Hi. Can anyone tell me:

 

1. Is there ANY mount that can get my scope lower than the K-Vars can, for my .308 Saiga? It's a Bushnell Elite 3200, 2-7x32mm.

 

2. Is there any *High-quality* mount that can get my scope lower than the K-Vars?

 

Any other recommendations for a mount for the side plate? I'd like to get the scope as low as possible, or perhaps to just enough to be able to barely see the rear and front irons on the lowest setting (100 yards).

LOW mounts can get it so low you WONT BE ABLE to see the irons, and for any objective larger than 40MM... will require the use of medium height rings...

I think it's important to note, that some mounts are low enough to have a scope hit the rear iron sight.

With a low mount you can just buy the taller rings required to make it miss.

Here is a Saiga 20 that I helped convert (thanks Alan) with a Tapco Side mount/red dot scope. How much lower do you want to go than this? You have to remove the mount to get the dust cover off...MadDog

The scope mount is centered unlike the Russian military scopes. This is great for lefthanders like myself.
