SaigaShooter 0 Posted June 6, 2005 Report Share Posted June 6, 2005 Yesterday Chai Vang asked that his trial be moved out of Sawyer county because of racial prejudice and a bias jury pool. Vang also requested that his taped confession not be allowed for use in court, stating that he didn't have a lawyer present. His second request is expected to be thrown out by the state Attorney General Pat Lautenshlauger, as she states he was read his Miranda rights twice, and knew he could wait for a lawyer. Bvamp 604 Posted June 6, 2005 Report Share Posted June 6, 2005 hahah last time i was arrested, they said that miranda rights meant all of nothing, and everything on the police report said by myself was done before my rights were read to me, even after they presumed there was a crime committed (of course there WAS no crime committed, but hey, im still in court, and I have spent about 2400 on the thing so far, and yes, im quite peeved that im there in the first place). they didnt even bother reading me them until I was being put into lockup when i ASKED them if they planned on reading me them ever. you got no rights. if you fuck up or not fuck up, if the cops want you, yer going. rights mean nothing anymore. the last time the cops were nice to me, and I think this is EVER were nice to me, was when they showed up when I was shooting because of the "volume of fire" and "noise level" complained to them by someone on the other side of the mountain I shoot at. I have a feeling it had something to do with the ak-47 i had in my hands at that particular moment, which just goes to show you that we should all have guns, and many of them at that.
